Maddy and Rose had an inexplicable connection. The way they understood each other just by a slight expression on their faces was strangely incredible, few people have a friendship as special as theirs.

When they first met, their first impression of each other was how much they hated each other for being almost so identical, but as soon as they spoke to each other everything changed and they soon realized that being similar in personality and tastes was not the worst thing in the world.
Everyone who looked at the two could understand that they were powerful both alone and as a duo. The two already generated confidence alone, but together they brought more confidence to each other. Rose had never felt so confident before, but with Maddy it seemed that she could do or say anything.

They literally did everything together, whenever one needed the other was there regardless of the moment. No one would try to do anything against either of them because they would know that the consequence would double. They would only find this out when a girl spread a rumor at school that Maddy had chlamydia, but what this girl didn't know was that this situation would also take an extra hit from Roseanne. The two of them hurt that girl so much that she got a broken nose and a broken tooth, as well as a face with different colors in every corner.

When Maddy started dating Nate, Rose warned her in every way about how dark the boy could get. She was afraid that anything that ever happened to her would happen to her best friend. And it did.

The minute she watched Nate's hand wrapped around Maddy's neck she wished she had the courage to do anything against the boy. She mentally beat herself up for not even blinking at that scene.

I didn't know how to help her with all the crying that was going on all over my room, but the moment it stopped, the only thing I knew I didn't have to ask was what happened or if she was okay. In the middle of the night, Jules also came to my house and she didn't explain anything, all she did was ask me to stay that night at home and after seeing Rose in my bed, she simply hugged her from the other side as I did. We both just supported Rose in the middle of cuddles to make her as comfortable as possible.

The instant Rue woke up, she could see only Roseanne in bed staring silently at the ceiling. That morning, Jules had left early in the morning before either of the two girls had woken up, she had just left Rue a message thanking her for her accommodation but left as soon as the message was forwarded to her friend's phone.

- Good morning. - Rue spoke hesitantly so that none of her speech would affect her friend. Rose, hearing the girl's voice next to her, turned her body to face Rue fully and greeted her with the same line back. - Are you... okay? - Roseanne was silent for a few seconds.

- No, but I think that I will be fine. Don't worry, and thank you for yesterday, it really helped me a lot.

- I will always be here for you. - She held her friend's hand close to the pillow on which her head was resting. Roseanne couldn't understand why Rue didn't hate her. She had simply abandoned her at her worst moment, but Rue was still there for her.

Arriving at school, Roseanne watched as Maddy entered her field of vision with a totally different style from other days. Wearing black from her feet to her head, an outfit that didn't show any curves which was quite exotic for Maddy's everyday looks. She knew how horrible the situation would affect her friend but she still couldn't do anything for Maddy, she hated herself so much for it.
