A few weeks of school had passed and Moon was getting nervous. The dance was in one week and what if she forgot to ask Qibli to go with her? She was sure he would say yes considering he was her boyfriend, but things could happen.
He could cheat on her. He could laugh at her and his friends laugh at her. The world could end. THINGS CAN HAPPEN!
Moon could hear a girl from her room crying and decided to stop her conflicts and deal with this one. As she walked in she saw none other than Kinkajou crying into her bed. Moon was surprised considering Kinkajou was always a happy and playful girl.
"You ok Kink?" Moon asked.
"No" she said through her tears. "I asked a boy I liked if he would go with me to the dance and he just laughed at me."
"Well who did you ask?" Moon asked.
"Coconut" she whined.
"You asked Coconut?" Moon said almost disappointed.
"Why is that so hard to believe?" Kinkajou said angrily.
"His brain may be a coconut" Moon laughed.
"Well who am I supposed to ask?" Kinkajou sighed.
"The person who has had a crush on you for like ever! Moon said. "I mean how are you guys not dating?"
"Turtle and me were never going to be a thing" Kinkajou said. "The only reason we were close was because of that whole spell nonsense"
"I'm just throwing out the easy choice" Moon said.
"Easy for you to say" Kinkajou growled which made Moon scared. "You are dating. This whole dance comes off easy to you"
"Why don't you just ask Turtle?" Moon said. "It will make you feel better"
Kinkajou and Moon stood in silence for a minute. Finally, Kinkajou agreed and left the room.
"Finally" Moon gasped. "Now I need to go get my mate"
Moon end up getting the dance partner of Qibli and figured out that opening up is always easier than hiding something.
