Winter. Her maybe-friend was here. Should she go talk to him? She decided to wait and avoid making a scene.

What surprised her was the fact he acted as if he didn't know Moon. He didn't look at her or even glance secretly. What was worse was he apparently had a sky fire on.

Moon knew that she hurt him when she chose Qibli, but it was as if he wanted her to not even know he existed or he know she existed.

Moon ignored this fact and got ready for the class.

"Hello class" the teacher said. "My name is Mr. Singe and just like last class, we will introduce ourselves"

The teacher pointed first to Winter. Moon was not surprised by this. One thing Moon liked about Winter was the fact he seemed to have the worst luck in the world and deal with it no problem.

"My name is Winter." He said. "I am exiled prince of the Icewings and hated by just about everyone"

"Winter" the teacher repeated. "I feel like I've heard your name from somewhere else"

"No" Winter growled. "I'm nothing special."

Poor Winter.  Moon thought. How is he this depressed? Did he really fall that hard?

The teacher next pointed to Moon.

"My name is Moonwatcher" she said.

She was shocked when Winter didn't even flinch at the mention of her name.

"I am known for the Jade Mountain Prophecy" she continued. "I also am into books"

The class continued to go around until the next bell rang. Moon rushed off to find Kinkajou since all the other  classes didn't start until tomorrow.

When she found her, she was talking to Cricket.

"Hey guys" Moon said exhausted.

"Did you find anyone you knew" Kinkajou asked. "I found Turtle and Qibli in art!"

"I have history with Winter" Moon said. "It was weird. He acted as if he didn't even know me."

"You did make his life even more wrecked than it was when you chose Qibli" Kinkajou pointed out.

"Yea but he can usually handle stuff like that" Moon said. "He lost his title and kingdom, then his father, his sister is in jail and he was fine with all that"

"Fine is stretching it" Kinkajou laughed.

"I'm sure he will be fine" Cricket said.

Moon and Kinkajou said bye to Cricket, then continued to talk as they walked down the hall.

As they did, a familiar voice called out.

"Moon" the voice said.

"Qibli!" Moon cried.

As the two hugged, Moon felt warmer than she had in a long time.

"How you been sweetie" Qibli asked.

"I've been fine" Moon said through her tears. "I actually have a question"

"What's up" Qibli asked.

"What's going on with Winter" she asked.

"He..." Qibli tried.

"He what?" Moon asked.

"He lost his mom" Qibli said.

"Why does he care?" Moon asked. "She hates him"

"He had already lost his father." Qibli said. "This was a huge blow for him"

"Poor guy" Kinkajou said. "Why don't we try to help him?"

"How?" Moon and Qibli asked.

"Just trust me" Kinkajou yelled running down the cave halls.
