Who Were They?

Evening

SAGE'S POV

"Hello my name is Luke" he said putting his hand out for me to shake it. I scowled at him before quickly grabbing Harpers hand.

"Why don't i show you..your rooms?" Viviane said looking back and forth from us and Luke. Harper looked at me and i approvingly nodded.

She led us up a beautiful modern white carpeted staircase and along a corridor. " your rooms are opposite each other and the one next to Harper's is Olivers and the one next to Sage's is mine and Lukes" she said.

We first entered Harper's room when Viviane opened the door. It was a medium sized room with a cabin bed the whole lay out was pink and white theme.

Harper looked at me with amazement before I gave her a shove to say thank you "oh thank you" Harper said to Viviane before climbing on the bed.

"Why don't i show you your room?" Viviane suggested before going across the hall to my room. i followed her into a similar sized room as Harpers which was white and grey themed. It had a double bed facing the door.

"Thanks.." i said before putting my bag down on the floor. "Ill let you girls settle in ill be downstairs if you need me." She said smiling before shutting the door.

I started to unpack the small amount of items in my bag, I picked up a yellow container with one pill left.

"Are you going to tell her?" Harper said making me jump "Jesus harp you scared me!" I said with a small laugh.

"Sorry.. anyways you didn't answer my question I said are you going to tell her?" She questioned me.

I thought a moment before replying "probably not, I don't think this is permanent.. I'm sorry harps" I said pulling her into a hug.

"Anyways last time we were there the doctor said Nothing would happen for a long time" I said trying to cheer her up, but honestly I was scared but I'd rather stay silent than ask that woman for anything.

"Sageeee that was two years ago and nothing would happen if you took your medication and this bottle has lasted you six months! It's only suppose to last a month!" She said changing her tone to be more serious

"Harps I'll be fine don't worry" I said putting my hand on her cheek before standing up and throwing my bag with most of my items in it into the cupboard

A few minutes later harper left to go unpack in her room so I took this time to try and find a job. I took out my iPod and began looking up jobs around the area where Viviane lives.

I heard a creek of a door and the waddling of someone behind me. I turned around to see a small boy with brown curly hair , tanned skin and was wearing some trousers with a red long sleeved shirt.

"Hi" he said giving me a small shy smile. I couldn't help but smile he reminded me so much of a younger harper. "Hello" I waved

"My name is Oliver, are you Shage?" He said trying to pronounce my name.

"Well it's nice to meet you and my name is sage" i said crossing my legs on my bed

"Mommy says your my big sister. She said you and harper lived with your daddy" he said struggling to get onto my bed.

I laughed before helping him up "yeah we did before our daddy died and then we came to live with your mom" I said my smile slowly fading away

"Why isn't my daddy your daddy?" He asked curiously, I love little kids there so honest and curious

"Well my daddy and your mommy met and they loved each other so much that they had me and harper, then they fell out of love and my daddy thought it was was best if we lived with him instead of her then your mommy met your daddy and loved each-other so much that they had you!" I said poking him on the nose gently.
