"*Warning: Dog Marriage," I read as Frisk entered the next room. They promptly went over to the three trees on the other end and flicked the switch hidden in the snow, then turned around right as an armored dog with a sword and a shield bounded up to us.

"Who's a good doggy," They cooed, as their Soul appeared in front of them.

"*Lesser Dog appears."

Frisk chose Act and raised their hand to pet Lesser Dog. They didn't even have to pet it, just raising their hand made it excited enough for Frisk to end their turn. Lesser Dog used its attack where a small dog leaps towards Frisk's Soul, and they moved out of the way at the last second. Frisk tried to pet the dog again, this time succeeding. The second turn is normally when I notice the change, and this time was no different. Lesser Dog's neck had gotten longer. I breathed a sigh of relief. At least this pure dog didn't seem too changed by the timeline glitches.

I was promptly proven wrong as Lesser Dog attacked again, using the attack where it summons two spears, one blue, one normal white. Only this time, the blue one was orange, and the white one moved vertically instead of horizontally. Not too much of a change, but still proved that even Lesser Dog was effected by the changed.

That process repeated for several turns, with Frisk petting and Lesser Dog using one of those two attacks, sometimes changing the direction the spears came from. Every time Frisk pet the dog, its neck would grow, until its head was nearly out of sight and it stopped being able to attack.

"*There is no stopping this madness," I commentated.

Frisk continued to act and attempt to pet, as they could no longer reach Lesser Dog's head, until its head was out of sight. A few attempts later, the head slowly descended down, eventually reaching petting level again. Once that level was hit, Lesser Dog started attacking again, same moves. Frisk pet until Lesser Dog's head bonked into the ground.

"Good boy," Frisk said as they Spared it. I couldn't help smiling at Lesser Dog's exhilarated expression as it ran away.

They went back into the spaghetti room and Saved again, then headed to the lower part of the snowy field. A large pile of snow was there. Normally, this pile of snow covered up a map to the switch, but since Frisk already got that switch, they just threw themself into the pile of snow instead. A minute of playing around later, they stood up, shivering, and licked the snow off their hands while progressing forward. They crossed a small bridge and stopped at the sound of approaching footsteps. Two dogs were approaching, both dressed in black, holding axes.

"What's that smell?" One of them, Dogamy, asked.

"Where's that smell?" The other, Dogaressa, added.

"If you're a smell..."

"...identify yoursmellf!"

The two dogs ran around the area, as Frisk stood still. "I'm right here," They said after a moment. The dogs took notice and approached Frisk.

"Hmm... Here's that weird smell..."

"It smells... like a weird puppy."

I blink. That's not the... wait. Normally, Frisk would have to roll around in the snow during the battle to mask their scent. But they already rolled around in snow, right before walking over here. That must have done the trick. I wonder why they've never tried this before.

"Yeah, that's what I am," Frisk said. "Wanna see a cool trick?"

The dogs tilted their heads to the side in unison. Frisk smirked and stood on their tiptoes, then pet both dogs at the same time.
