Resilience [Krew in MHA]

10k special thats been due for a little while

Isaki here! Thanks again for 10k! I'm passionate about writing this story so seeing people love reading definitely helps me want to keep going. Plus, it inflates my massive ego (that's a joke I'm not like that). Anyways, this is basically Deku's notes on the Krew so far. Each paragraph for the Krew members will have a bit of foreshadowing for future character development. I'm sure you guys will be able to figure it out and if not, no worries! You'll find out later... or pretty soon.

Krew (The five LA's)

That's what they call themselves. I'm guessing it's because of Kathrine and Kimberly's first names and they're a group of five siblings. They're Canadian and have quirks very different from each other. It makes me wonder what they're parents quirks were, as most kids have quirks similar to their parents whereas each of theirs are very and almost completely different. I've never seen them around before and it'd be too hard to miss them. All but Kimberly have bright colored hair, and they really know how to make people's head turn with their behavior. It's like they just appeared out of thin air.

Often, it seems like there's no separating them. If you talk to one, at least one other will show up. It's always like they're in their own world that they occasionally step out of to talk to others. But, recently they've been a lot more social and talking to others. I'm unsure what changed their mind, but talking to them is nice so I don't think about it too much.

Painting Rainbows (Betty LA)

Betty's the oldest, but shortest of the siblings. She's the only one who can control them when they get into trouble but hates when they have to rescue her. She has a problem with guilt when her siblings worry for her and it's a little concerning. Though, I'm unsure how to approach her about it.

Her quirk lets her launch rainbow like ribbons from her hands. What's interesting is they look like the rainbows you see in the sky, but behave like normal ribbons made of fabric. You can't even see through them. She can manipulate the ribbons to do what she pleases and when they hit the ground, they dissolve. I wonder why she can't retract them. Surely, she should be able to.

Her quirk reminds me of Sero in a way, but with more control. However, what she has in control she lacks in stamina. Her quirk can badly dehydrate her. Betty's quirk takes moisture out of the air to make the ribbons stronger, but I'm guessing it also takes a little moisture from her body to form them in the first place. If there's no moisture in the air, it takes more from her body than normal, leaving her fatigued and dehydrated. I wonder if she overdoes it, it'll kill her. So, she carries water everywhere.

Girlboss (Kimberly LA)

Kimberly's the second oldest of the LA's. She prefers people call her Kim, but I end up calling her by her full first name by mistake. I don't think she minds though. She's stylish and confident, but is sometimes too forward. She also seems to dislike All Might which I can't understand.

Her quirk blinds people for however long she wants when she looks them in the eye. Apparently, she can't turn it off so she wears sunglasses everywhere. I find it fascinating she has no control of activating it, as I'm pretty sure that's a first. Kim also mentioned that she can only blind them if she looks at them directly. So if they wear a mask or something to cover their eyes, her quirk won't effect them.

Fuuneh (Kathrine LA)

Kat for short, but like Kim, I end up calling her Kathrine. The middle child. She's the trouble maker of the Krew and isn't afraid to show it. She also shows a liking to sabotaging and messing with others though she means no harm. Especially her brother, who seems to have an on going rivalry with her.

Kathrine's quirk lets her shoot bright blue beams of bad luck. "Bad omen," she calls it. These blasts make bad things happen to anything that's hit. This works on people and objects. Possibly animals, as she hasn't tried. Unfortunately (pun unintended), her luck is effected every use. For as long as I've known her, I don't think she's gotten hurt because of it. But, I'm sure the siblings can recall some stories of her luck hurting her.

Tsuki (Wenny LA)

I've grown a (platonic) liking to Wenny, even if she's scary sometimes. She sits behind me in class and we talk often. We have similar interests like heroes, strategies, and thinking patterns. She's the second to youngest sibling.

Her quirk lets her summon a broomstick which she can ride on, summon a spell book, and make glass bottles of potions in her hands. These potions have a wide selection of effects, and lasting time. The longer it's supposed to last, the longer it takes to make. She also mentioned once how she can dip arrows into potions to give them the effect. The arrows dissolve on impact, but give the person hit the effect. I wonder if that works on everything.

Draconite (Allen LA)

Allen's the youngest and only boy out of the five siblings. He's the one who has a rivalry with Kathrine. He gets into just as much trouble as she does but normally leaves with less punishment. He has a massive love for dumplings and hates seafood, which is strange as a lot of Japanese cuisine has seafood in it. Let's just say, he often ends up eating something completely different than everyone else.

Her quirk lets him summon a hammer which only he can wield. He also can briefly boost his speed. He claims to be able to do other things like watching opponents to improve his speed and once an enemy is defeated others are revealed to him. But, I haven't seen any other abilities in action.
