Life

A terrifying glimpse into the unknown, but none the less a beautiful creation. Something so limited, yet so draining. A beginning to an end yet the end to a beginning in regards to human creation. Something that once started as an innocent inception that turned into a horrid path of destruction. Humans take what they need and take some more so their neighbor can't survive, a selfish way of life. Only when the blood in your veins return to the sea, and the earth in your bones return to the ground, perhaps then will you remember this land does not belong to you, it is you who belongs to this land. You are not your age, nor the size of your clothes you wear. Or the color of your hair. You are not your name, or the dimples in your cheeks. You are all the words you speak, and the smiles you try to hide. You're the sweetness in your laughter, and every tear you've cried. You're the places you've been to, and the one that you call home. You're the things you believe in, and the people that you love. You are the future you dream of. You're made of so much beauty. But it seems that you forgot—when you decided that you were defined by the things that you are not. The beauty of the universe.

The Universe

A beacon to all who have ever been, to all that have never been, and all that who confides in energy. Something so fickle to the infinite timeline, especially to a mere human—someone who's eyes limit to what they can see, what they can understand. When you take care of yourself, the universe takes care of the rest but some may never know this—they are much to occupied by the busyness of everyday life. You cannot see your reflection in raging water. Similarly, you cannot see the truth in a state of denial. When the waters calm, the clarity comes. The universe is balanced. Maybe for you there's a tomorrow, but for some of us it's only today—something immortals will forever envy.

Death

Some say it's the destruction of all life, I say it's just the beginning. It's when the soul leaves the body, only to finally feel the everlasting feeling of freedom. Some also say that this is lonesome—but that's the beauty in it, you can never be alone in death. It is when you find yourself, truly understand yourself from the strands of DNA to the complex thoughts of the human mind. When death finally finds you, it's not a bright white light into the gates of heaven—it's the unwinding of the universe that takes you to see all that you have ever wondered. Such complexity for a living soul, yet so balanced for a free mass of energy. In the afterlife you understand how much went to waste during your years touching the green grass and blue waters, you regret ever spending your life chasing rather than attracting, because in the end what belongs to you will always find its way back to you. Rejection is for your own protection. Expect nothing, appreciate everything because everything is temporary.

Eight

When Number Eight had experienced death, she hadn't understood what it was. Where was her mind and why was it not connected to her body? She couldn't find an answer, yet she never wanted to, she never needed to. She felt the weightless feeling of serenity she never was able to before. If she were to describe it in one word—balance. Balance for all things that had ever done her wrong and everything that had ever done her right. For all those who she had wronged and for all those who he had done right. Balance.

The first thing she was able to see was a strong flash of Blue light, radiating a mound of heat from the energy. A silhouette came into the blue, showcasing a man and yet a boy—screaming in pain or fear—she couldn't quite tell. The weird man combined with the bright blue light had filled her with a feeling of nostalgia, something she hadn't felt for what seemed to be an eternity.
