The Accident

The brothers, Casey and April were out in a Kraang base, because Donnie picked up some readings of very dangerous energy.

Donnie, April and Casey were fighting close to each other. Donnie was about to hit a Kraang over the head when Casey pushed him out the way to fight the Kraang himself to impress April, little did he know a Kraang from a second floor shot Donnie while he was on the floor. Soon they destroyed all the Kraang.

"Ha! Beat that Donnie!" Casey yelled while everyone else was staring at what the Kraang was building, "Donnie? C'mon get up and stop sulking" Casey pushed Donnie on his back and saw all the blood.

"What's going on over here?" Leo walked over and then saw his brother on the floor, "..... Casey... what the hell did you do?!" Leo screamed.

"Leo don't yell at hi-" April started but then saw Donnie on the floor, his shell and skin covered with a thin layer of blood, "Oh my god..."

"We have to get him to Master Splinter now!!" Leo yelled, grabbing his arms while Raph grabbed his legs.

The two carried Donnie's limp body to the Shellrazor while Mikey, April and Casey walked slowly behind, they soon set him down on the floor of the vehicle.

"Casey.. April.. it's probably best if you two just.. go home" Leo said while he closed the door and got in the driver's seat and drove off.

"Casey.." April started, staring at the floor, "What the hell were you thinking?! Why did you push Donnie like that?!" April yelled at him.

"I'm sorry Red.. I just.. I wanted to prove myself to you guys by taking down those scum Kraang!" Casey tried to explain but April was sick of him.

"Casey, Donnie is hurt because of you, if he dies I never want to see your damn face again!" April walked away without letting him reply.

With the turtles and Splinter.

"My sons.. tell me what happened" Splinter said while pressing a cloth against the bullet wound.

"We were fighting the Kraang and Casey pushed Donnie for some reason-" Leo started explaining.

"I'll tell you why he pushed Donnie, because hes a try hard! He says he wants to impress us with his 'awesome skills' and then goes and does this!" Raph ranted.

Splinter looked over at Raph, "My son.. I know this is distressing but please I'll need you to be calm so I can help your brother" Splinter calmly said and Raph nodded.

Its been a few hours since the 3 left the dojo. Mikey held onto Leo, light sobs could be heard. Raph stared at the floor cursing Casey in his head.

Splinter told them Donnie also had a small concussion from the shove, he wasn't sure when Donnie would wake up and that scared the 3 teenagers, especially Mikey.

Suddenly Master Splinter walked out of the dojo, the 3 stood up waiting for their father to say something, anything.

"Well.. my sons.. it seems Donatello will be okay, I'm just unsure when he will wake up" Master Splinter said, Mikey lowered his head.

"May we go in and see him father?" Leo asked with a look of hope.

"Of course my sons, just take it easy with him, his body is healing" Splinter told the 3, they nodded and went into the dojo to see Donnie unconscious on the floor, his head rested on a pillow and he had a blanket wrapped around him.

"He looks really peaceful like this.. don't you think Leo?" Raph mumbled so Mikey wouldn't hear.

"Yea, hopefully he wakes up.. we need him" Leo said then walked over and knelt down next to his younger brother.
