You boarded a large boat in the city. The owners were inviting anyone and everyone for a party, so you decided to join in, having not talked to any mortals in gods know how long. Despite your hatred for water.

During the party you tried to stay away from the crowd as you got a few strange looks from other guests at the party, but they didn't matter to you, they were simply some pesky mortals.

But two stuck out to you, a girl with black and green hair and a mostly green outfit pointed at you as she whispered to her friend, you figured it was just another backhanded comment about your horns, you've never really found out how to hide them so you let them show.

After the party as most of the guests had left, the last few were departing as you took a step to leave, stumbling back as your back collided with the edge of the boat, tossing you overboard.
