❷Kicking Ass

Crystal's POV

The bell rang luckily and Mr. White told us he would explain further tomorrow. James quickly followed me as I had practically ran out of the classroom. I reached my locker with James hot on my heels.

My breathing became sharper and I stood there slightly gawking. James came up to me and simply hugged me. I took in his amazing Calvin Klein's cologne and it slowly helped me. Once I was breathing normally again James let go.

He looked down at me concerned. "You ok Cris?" He asked with narrowed eyes. I gulped and nodded. Putting a piece of hair behind my ear and looking down. "Don't worry Cris. It's only a in-class project anyway. She won't be able to do anything to you." James assured me and I nodded.

"Yeah you're right. Thanks." I smiled up at him and hugged him tightly. "No problem. After all I am your best friend." He shrugged and I giggled. I let go and breathed in deeply.

"Okay then. Ready for P.E?" He asked and I nodded. We headed to the changing rooms, and we parted ways. Jade greeted me inside I tried my best to smile. She looked at me concerned.

"You okay Cris?" She asked. I barely nodded but of course she didn't believe me. "Seriously? You can tell me anything babe." She assured me. It still surprised me how kind she was. After all she was a dark angel.

"Don't worry about it Jade. I promise I'll tell you later alright?" I asked with pleading eyes. She sighed but agreed. I gave her a grateful smile and we headed to change. I went to my locker and opened it. I grabbed my P.E clothes and quickly changed.

Jade and I headed outside where the class took place. Since after all we were supernaturals. Miss. Dine blew her whistle making everyone stare at her. As usual all wolves and vampires covered their ears. Having supernatural hearing didn't help in P.E.

"Alright guys. Today we are having a break from everything. So I decided to play some dodge ball." She stated and people cheered. She blew her whistle once again silencing everyone else. "Best part? All powers aloud." She smiled and we all cheered.

I smirked. I guess this will be a fun class after all. I loved my powers. Although no one knew about them. With the exception of Jade. Since she had the same powers. I didn't understand them. No angel had them. Angels were usually only abled to fly, make things appear, and to make wishes come true. Only over other people. The thing was I actually had the power to lift things up. Like make them fly. Or I could simply control an object however I wanted.

"Teams." Miss. Dine barked. Literally! Well after all she was a werewolf. "Captains will be... Matt and Nash." She stated and they headed up to the front. Matt and Nash were both vampires. They were actually pretty popular.

I smirked knowing Nash was Jade's crush. Well mini crush. She found him cute and all but it was complicated. They scanned the crowd and picked up people. After a while each team had 10 people each. We were 34 so 14 were left.

Matt had 4 vampires, 3 werewolves, 2 angels, and 1 mermaid. Nash's team consisted of 4 vampires, 4 werewolves, and 1 angel and 1 wizard. "Jade." Matt said and grinned I could see James and Justin in that team too.

Jade stopped smiling a little but quickly got over it. She gave me a sad smile but hopeful eyes. I knew she wanted me in her team. "Harry." Nash called out and I heard growls from Matt's team. Harry shrugged and smirked. I could see he was talking mentally with other lads.

One was blonde with blue eyes. The other had a badass style to him. His arms filled with tattoos, like harry. He almost had a sleeve done though. The other two both had brown hair. Although one had soft brown eyes and the other piercing blue ones. Not as light as the other, but they were slightly darker.
