Yes, No, Maybe

I was sitting at the desk in my bedroom doing all my homework. The sun was going down and I was getting ready for dinner. I was searching through my folder for my math worksheet when I found the note from Niall, so I decided to read it again, just to make everything clear. I reread it at least ten times. I couldn't believe Niall actually wrote this for me. It's like he knew I liked him. It's like he knew I had the biggest crush on him I had ever had before.

I grabbed my sparkly pink inked pen my grandma had given me for my 14th birthday. I loved this pen, I used it for everything. It was very special to me since my grandma recently passed away.

I focused in on the (Circle One) part of the letter. I really liked Niall. I liked everything about him, he was perfect in every way to me. Thinking this way, I knew, without a doubt, that I should circle the YES option of the letter. If I circle the YES option of the letter consequences would follow. It will probably spread around the whole school, in a day, that we liked each other, and that wouldn't be good. Thinking this way, I should probably just circle the MAYBE option so it doesn't scream out loud that I like him, but at the same time it doesn't make him feel bad thinking that I truly dislike him. Anyway, he obviously already knows I like him. It also probably took him a lot of courage to write this note and put it in my locker. I knew for sure that I could never do that in a million years.

I gripped my pink inked pen and made my final decision. I drew a heart around the YES option and put the note back in my folder, ready to give to back to Niall tomorrow.
