When Jacob first met (Y/N), he was a bit intimidated. The guy was ripped and also a bit taller than everyone at the camp. He also had what people would call a 'resting bitch face.' Overall, he was terrifying.
So, Jacob waited until he had to meet him. He was nervous. Jacob wasn't weak or anything, he was a bit above average athleticism, but this guy looked like he could crush him.
It was a surprise when Jacob met him and leaned how nice he was. (Y/N) smiled at him, (Jacob felt his heart race when be did), and was just genuinely kind overall.
Jacob and (Y/N) were in charge of the sports activities around camp. They spent a lot of time together. In that time, Jacob got to see how much of a softie (Y/N) really was. He was a muscular giant, but he was also the kindest person Jacob knew. He really liked him. Like... Really liOverall. Like, head over heels for him.
(Y/N) had grown close to Jacob as well. Jacob was very funny. He was someone who was funny without even trying to be. Whenever (Y/N) was having a bad day, Jacob was right there to make things better. Be really appreciated him.
(Y/N) knew he had feelings for Jacob. But he was too scared to say anything. He really liked Jacob and was afraid to lose him. If he told him, he was afraid Jacob wouldn't hang out with him anymore. He was afraid of losing his friend.
The night was coming to an end. Today, the kids played baseball. Jacob and (Y/N) were stuck cleaning up the mess, as usual.
"Whew! That was fun, huh?" Jacob grinned. He didn't like cleaning up, but he liked being with (Y/N).
"Yeah! The kids had a lot of fun, too, I think," (Y/N) replied. He started picking up the bases.
"Totally, dude! They loved it," Jacob replied. He was scouting for baseballs the kids had hit. Some actually got pretty far.
(Y/N) put the stuff in the bin and started picking up the bats. "They liked it more than soccer."
"Well, yeah. That's only 'cause that kid got a bloody nose and freaked everybody out," Jacob chuckled, remembering. (Y/N) had comforted him and was right by his side. Jacob smiled at the scene. Everything (Y/N) did just made him fall more in love with him.
"I was freaking out. I felt so bad for him," (Y/N) said. Only a few more things were left out in the grass.
"Eh, he was fine." Jacob put the last of the things in the bin. (Y/N) was standing next to him. Jacob stopped breathing for a second and he didn't know why. (Y/N) was just so... Everything. Wonderful, handsome, kind... He was great. "Hey, I got a hypothetical for you."
(Y/N) tilted his head, curious. "What?"
"Let's say... You have this friend. Whose amazing. And you have a crush on them. How do you tell them?" Jacob asked. He was talking about (Y/N), of course. But (Y/N) didn't know that.
"Well... If you were me, you just wouldn't tell them," (Y/N) replied.
"Wait, what? Why not?" Jacob questioned, perplexed.
(Y/N) shrugged. "I guess I wouldn't want to ruin the friendship, you know?"
Jacob nodded, understanding. "Well... Let's say.... they would be your friend no matter what. What then?" He knew (Y/N) would probably be his friend still. It might be a little awkward, but (Y/N) was too nice to just ditch someone like that.
(Y/N) bit his lip, thinking. He looked down at Jacob. "I... I don't know." It was too much. Looking at him made his head spin. He started to walk away, but Jacob stepped in front of him.
"Okay- Here's what I would do," Jacob took a pause. "(Y/N): I have feelings for you. Do you like me too or do you want to be friends?"
(Y/N) felt his heart stop. He had to remind himself that Jacob wasn't actually confessing. "That's... good."
Jacob clicked his tongue. "(Y/N), I'm actually confessing to you!"
"Uh... What?"
"I'm..." Jacob sighed. "I was trynna do it all cool, y'know? That didn't work out...."
"Wait... You actually like me?" (Y/N) asked. He wanted to be sure.
"Yeah? Thought it was obvious but I-"
(Y/N) couldn't control himself. He pressed his lips onto Jacob's, excitement taking hold. Jacob liked him. He actually liked him!
He realized that he just kissed Jacob. He pulled away quickly, embarassed. "Sorry, I-"
Jacob cut him off with another kiss. (Y/N) could feel him smiling against his lips. "Don't be sorry, dude. That was great."
(Y/N) couldn't help but smile. He had to remind himself that they had to get back to the lodge. "We, uh... We should get back."
"Gotcha," Jacob replied. He grabbed (Y/N)'s hand, intertwining their fingers. (Y/N) knew his face was probably red, but he didn't care. Jacob and him walked to the lodge, holding hands the whole way.
