There she was, standing outside Little-Moon's Café. She looked through the window and saw Amy, the manager. Olivia met her the week she moved into the apartment upstairs and she practically became her best friend but that was mainly due to the fact she didn't have any other friends really. She walked in and Amy could instantly tell something was up. When the two made eye contact, Olivia's dam broke and with that came all the tears she had been holding in.

'He did it' she sniffed 'he fired me, I'm screwed! How am I gonna look after Oak? And Keep the apartment? A- and-' her speech was interrupted by her hysterical crying.

'Hush hunny, it's going to be ok. You can work here, I'm short on staff anyways and I couldn't think of a better person to work for me.' Amy said with a sincere smile on her face. Over the years Olivia had learnt to be able to tell between a lie and truth. She had to, for her own safety.

Olivia was still crying but not out of sadness but out of happiness this time. She showered Amy with countless thank yous and was buzzing with excitement.

After the eventful day she had just had, Olivia went upstairs, said hello to her little loaf and practically threw herself in bed. She was absolutely exhausted from the rollercoaster of emotions she'd had that day. She closed her eyes and drifted to sleep, but little did she know, this sleep would not be a peaceful one.

Flashback

'I DON'T WANNA GO! MAMA! PAPA! DON'T LET THEM TAKE ME!' She screamed, crying for her parents to not let them take her.

'I'm sorry my child, this is the only way,' Her father said, trying to maintain the strength a king like himself should show.

'Don't take my daughter! Please, I beg of you!' She heard her mother scream, being held back by her father. 'I will find you Fern! I Promise!' Her mother shouted. Little did Fern know, this would be the last time she saw either of her parents. Her mother lied, She hadn't found her and she had given up on all hope that she ever would.

Just like that, the 17 year old Fern was dragged away from everything she had ever known and was dumped on a planet of which she was unfamiliar. Unlike hers, this planet was cold, and full of ice. The people were scary and tall and she hated every minute of it. She was in Jotunheim, a place full of violence and suffering for those not welcome and frankly, Fern was not welcome. She was beaten till she bled, tortured till the ice giants decided it was enough and would call it for a day. The day she escaped was 2 years later but in Jotunheim, this felt like an eternity. The only reason she escaped was because some people had come and attacked. She didn't remember how she got on earth, she blacked out and when she woke up she was just... there. She knew there would be a risk of capture if she went by her real name on Midgard. She looked around for a human name she could use as an alias and heard the name Olivia which she decided would be good, then looked at the bench in front of her with the name Wixx engraved on it. 'Olivia Wixx,' she muttered under her breath. 'I like it,' she said with a slight smile.

End of flashback

Olivia sat up, her body covered in sweat, Her chest rising and falling faster than it should be. She had that dream again. She had to relive that torture... again. She looked at her alarm clock, the time read 3:06am. She knew she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep and she didn't have to work in the morning so she decided to shove her earphones in and go on a walk. She had just been walking aimlessly when she heard an explosion over the music blasting in her ears. She looked up and caught the one and only Iron Man flying overhead shortly followed by a quinjet. She followed the chaos to the war zone occurring in NewYork once again. Olivia wasn't on earth when the whole attack on NewYork happened but she has heard stories about the destruction and the tyrant Loki who orchestrated the whole ordeal but something about what she had heard about this 'God Of Mischief' seemed off. Whilst she was getting caught up in a daydream, she didn't notice the large creacher sprinting towards her.

In a moment of panic, she closed her eyes, allowing them to shift to a dark pink colour and she started singing, the monster was put into a trance, seemingly... falling asleep? One of her eyes shifted blue as she continued to sing. She waved her hands around, summoning strings of impenetrable ivy vines. Tying the monster till it was imobile but not dead. It was just sleeping. She allowed her eyes to shift back to their normal blue colour and looked around, realising that the avengers just witnessed her do that.

'Uh- yeah I'm just gonna-' she said pointing her thumb behind her, signalling that she was gonna leave.

'Did anyone else see that or am I just going crazy?' Black Widow said into her intercom with confusion.

' We should probably follow her huh?' The Falcon said and Captain America and The Winter Soldier just nodded and ran after this mysterious girl.

When they caught up with her she was just sitting there. on a bridge, legs dangling over the side, earphones in and head pointed to the sky.

'It's a nice night to watch the stars, huh?' Olivia turned around to see the three men standing in a line, looking at her contempt. She removed one of her earphones and huffed. 'Yeah... it really is' she said in response to the captain.

'So... what were you doing out so late kid?' the falcon inquired.

'I'm not a kid and I just wanted to clear my head but instead I used my powers out of panic and met the earth's mightiest heroes so uh... I guess that relaxing walk went out the window didn't it haha' she said, facing the sky once again. 'Are you gonna take me in or can I go home? Because I can tell you, I'd much rather the latter option' She said as she clambered off the wall, now standing face to face with quite possibly the most patriotic looking American citizen to ever exist.

'Just wanna ask you some questions, see whose side you're one ya know?' She looked over at the man now talking to her... the winter soldier.

She scoffed, 'that's rich coming from a man who fought for hydra for god knows how many years'

'My name is Bucky, I'm not... him anymore. Look, we won't keep you long, ok? Call him Sam and him Steve' he pointed at the heroes, saying their respective names.

'Ok Tinman, I'll go with you, Birdman and Spangles... Just please promise you won't keep me there? If I wanna leave, will you let me?' she said in a slightly quieter, more vulnerable than before. Bucky sensed this familiar tone, it reminded him of himself. He knew there was a lot of mental baggage with this girl and there was a lot more to her than her hard exterior.

' of course, you aren't a hostage and quite frankly so far, you've done nothing but help us. We just wanna know who you are... the real you.' Bucky stepped forwards, speaking softly. He formed a connection at that moment. A feeling of safety developed inside Olivia as she made eye contact with him. She nodded, as she did this Bucky outstretched his hand and she reluctantly took it into her own.

She was led to the quinjet, firmly stuck to Bucky's arm. She jumped at the sound of someone talking behind her.

' Ah, so you caught the kid. Congrats Buckaroo.'

'I told you to stop calling me that!' Bucky said to Iron Man who was giggling to himself as he passed by him,

'I'm Tony by the way, although you probably already knew that' he said with a cocky grin on his face. Olivia was aware he was arrogant but damn... it was way worse in person. 'This is Nat, Clint, Wanda and Vision' as he called each of the names they scanned her, inspecting every inch of her physical appearance. Olivia took a step behind Bucky, feeling uncomfortable. She had a sudden wave of a weird feeling. She looked over at Wanda knowing exactly what she was attempting to do.

Olivia quickly spoke but quietly to ensure only Bucky heard 'It wont work' she said, Bucky looked down at her with confusion covering his face 'Wanda trying to get in my head... it wont work' she reiterated. Bucky looked up and repeated the words that had Just come out of her mouth. Wanda looked up in surprise, confused by the situation.
