The velvet Cloak of the night was draped over the world as if we are all in a snow globe and a purple cloak or a cloth had been thrown over it.

Seokjin was having a peaceful motherly hand roaming around his head bringing a satisfying massage to his scalp as he laid his head on his mother's lap and her mother draped her hands over his head giving him rest with the massage to his scalp.

Seokjin was looking at the stars winking towards him and he quickly hid his mother's eyes by putting his hands on her eyes as the roaming fingers on his scalp stopped and she chuckled.

"I won't let the stars flirt with you now, can I?" he said with a possessiveness laced upon the string of his voice as his mother giggled by removing the hands of her eyes and seeing a smiling Seokjin contrary to the voice he used.

"What are you saying my dear?" she asked, her voice oh so sweet to hear, so sweet and high that the voice in itself described that she was accustomed to being heard.

"I am saying that Stars are winking at you and I can't let them to flirt with my beautiful mom, you know dad would feel left out"

She just chuckled "Care to explain what is meaning behind these all things"

He just shook his head "Uh-huh no, the stars don't wink mom they twinkle not actually twinkle too their light reaches us with several reflections and refractions so it might 'seem' as twinkling or winking, you know that mom?" She nodded as she caressed his head again with adulation-filled eyes.

Seokjin laid back again on her lap as he stared at the night sky with the veil of stars on it "Mom, you remember Byulyi noon?"

She just hummed remembering the two, the two were inseparable as she smiled at the thought of them together always in their little mischief "I do dear, what about that?"

"You know she said, vows are meant to be kept but then why did she, my Byulyi noona break it eomma?" she stopped momentarily the caressing of his head as she heard the sudden question and looked down towards her son with a slightly shocked face.

"I hate her for breaking it, you too said that who breaks a promise isn't a good person" she cupped her hands on his cheeks as she slowly cascaded her thumb over his cheeks which turned from chubby to a well-defined mass around his bones.

"Seokjin you should always remember when someone breaks their promise or vow, doesn't always mean that they are bad people, they just have their own circumstance to be changed and molded at that time which leads them to do this do you understand my dear?" he nodded with a hum as he closed his eyes making himself comfortable at the warmth of his mother.

"But you promise you won't ever leave me like her right? You promise me eomma? and You won't break it right?" she hummed and smiled towards her son who was showing his glimmering hoping eyes to her hiding her affliction behind the smile she nodded.

Seokjin's smile widened as he turned his face again up to the velvet cloak of the night with a veil of refracting reflecting shining high stars which covered the cosmos.

Who knew this kind smile and glimmering eyes would change into a hard, compassionless, and tight smile because of the untold circumstances which are yet to knock into his world?
