A week later

Jack's POV

Lately Hiccup and Merida have been sneaking off together and they won't tell us anything so it leaves me and Lily or sometimes it will leave me, Lily and Rapunzel which is awkward because Lily is acting like she wants Rapunzel closer to me than her.

Rapunzel: hey Jack are you okay?

Jack: hey I am okay why?

Rapunzel: you have that look on your face where you look like a lost puppy

Jack: I do not

Rapunzel: you kinda do but it is cute

Jack: *rolls eyes*

Rapunzel: *giggles* what's up you can tell me

Jack: it's Lily

Rapunzel: what about her?

Jack: she is acting like she wants you and me closer than me and her

Rapunzel: hmm does she know that you used to like me?

Jack: wait how do you know about that?

Rapunzel: take a guess?

Jack: Merida and Hiccup

Rapunzel: yeah they told me

Jack: well yeah Lily knows that

Rapunzel: look all I can tell you is to talk to her about it properly and she should tell you if she doesn't I will have a word I don't like seeing you two unhappy

Jack: thanks Punzie

Rapunzel: no problem anyway I have to go

Jack: where?

Rapunzel: I have to do homework

Jack: okay see you later

Rapunzel: bye and good luck

Rapunzel walked away from me and I sighed I got my phone out and rang Lily.

Jack: hey Lily

Lily: hi Jack what's up?

Jack: can we talk

Lily: we are talking now

Jack: no in person please it's urgent

Lily: okay meet me at the peaceful end of the field I'll be waiting

Jack: okay see you soon

*End of phone convo*

I ran to the field and ran to the quiet end I saw Lily waiting for me I got to her and she gave me a weak smile.

Lily: what did you want to talk about?

Jack: I want to know why you keep pushing me away

Lily: I'm not

Jack: Lily you are and you keep putting me with Rapunzel please tell me the truth

Lily: *sighs* Jack you told me that you loved Rapunzel and that you don't think you will be able to stop loving her so when you two became friends again I could see how strong your bond was and how strong it is getting you two belong together not me and you I couldn't bare to hurt your feelings but it is the truth that you and Rapunzel belong with each other because of your past and everything you two have been through.
