"Cath, Catherine wake up!" Catherine sleepily opened her eyes to her mom gently waking her up. "Morning Momma." She said. "I'm seven now!" Catherine's mom smiled and helped her get dressed. "What's for breakfast?" Catherine said. "Well, I thought we could go to Kitsune's place!" Catherine's mom replied. "Really?!" Catherine said happily. "Of course." Catherine's mom said.
10 Minutes Later
"Momma, Are we here?" Catherine said. "Yes dear." Catherine's mom said. "Do you need help getting unbuckled?" Catherine shook her head. "Okay, I'll open your door for you." Catherine's mom replied.
They walked into Kitsune's diner, and Catherine was greeted by beeping arcade games and jaunty music coming from the stage. "Go on Catherine." Catherine's mom said. Catherine ran over to the stage. Kitsune stood atop it, singing her same song. Kitsune looked down at Catherine and bent to be around her height. "W-W-Well hi-hi-hi! What's your name?" Kitsune said. "Oh my name is Catherine! I'm seven today! My birthday is today." Catherine replied. "Well that's great-great-great!" Kitsune said in a smile. "Do you want a hug?"
Backstage
"Alright, What does this button do?" The security guard sighed. She looked at the red button with a lighting symbol. "What does this button do?" She pressed the button.
Onstage
Suddenly Kitsune jerked around. "K-Kitsune? Are you o-okay?" Kitsune laughed. Catherine tried to scream, but her world was enveloped in darkness.
"W-w-what happened? Where's Momma?" Catherine asked. Suddenly, she heard a rustle. "Who the heck are you?"
