Forbiden love. || Sanemi X Giyuu <3

-1- Rejection.

Giyuu never felt so confident in himself, he takes a deep breath “You got this Giyu-San!” Tanjiro said.

Giyuu looks at him with a smile, and walks away to sanemi, “Sanemi can I..ask you something..?” Giyuu asked confidently and nervously.

“Hah? What is it?” Sanemi asked ‘Cmon Giyuu you got this just ask him!' Giyuu thinks to himself “I-I like you. And I was wondering if you would-"

Giyuu starts to rethink about this whole thing.

"Want to go out on a date…?” Giyuu asked, Dead silence. “Sanemi?” Giyuu ask Waiting for his answer.

“Sanemi!” A familiar voice shouted Sanemi turns around “Kanae!!, oh how I missed you!“ He gives her a kiss and a hug.

Giyuu sees this, “Oh. I’m sorry.” His confidence went away, he walks away with tears slowing coming out of his eyes.

“Ah! How was the confession giyuu san?~” Shinobu says teasing him “Not now Shinobu…please” giyuu asked of her “Giyuu..? What happened?”

She turns to look at his face, “Oh giyuu im sorry, you know that there’s more people it’s not just him” she said Trying to comfort him.

“How can I be this stupid?! Of course he didn’t like me back! He loves her! It’s always been her!” Giyuu shouted, he bursts into tears.

“Why couldn’t I be her? Why couldn’t he choose me…?” Giyuu said, Shinobu just listened, she hugs him “I’m so sorry Giyuu”

"I will be taking my leave now Kocho." He says as he walks away holding his head low.

-WITH SANEMI-

Sanemi was walking with Kanae and he remembers what Tomioka was saying.

'Hm, what was Tomioka saying... I cant remember. Oh well.' he thinks.

"Hey sanemi, what were you talking about with Tomioka?" Asks kanae.

"I can't remember what he said before you came." Her mumbles.

"You should ask him later! Maybe he was saying something important." She says.

Kanae knew about Giyuu's feelings towards sanemi but she acted as if she didn't even though it hurt her seeing giyuu down whenever Sanemi would hug or kiss her.

'The most I can do is help Giyuu to talk more often to sanemi.. But Sanemi is stubborn and rude so that would be hard. Luckily he will talk to him later. Though if it weren't for me he would have forgotten all about Giyuu telling him something. What can I do for these helpless lovers.' She thinks and lets out a sigh.

"Hey Kanae, are you alright? You seem down." He says.

"Oh, I'm fine Sanemi. Don't forget to go see giyuu later this afternoon." She says smiling.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll talk to him later." He huffs.

TIME SKIP

Sanemi walks to the water estate aka Tomioka's house.

KNOCK KNOCK

Giyuu hears the door knock and gets up to open it.

"Sanemi? What do you need?" Giyuu asks slightly tilting his head.

"You were telling me something earlier. What did you say. I didn't hear you."

"Oh, It was nothing." Says giyuu turning sad from remembering what had happened earlier that day.

"Stop lying Tomioka. You were saying something. And hury up I don't want to be seen here."

"Then leave." Says a third voice.

Sanemi looks past Tomioka and his eyes widen from seeing a pisssd off Rengoku.

"Whats he doing here?" Asks Sanemi.

"Rengoku came by to eat lunch with me but ended up staying for dinner. And helping me with some personal problems."

Sanemi rolls his eyes and says, "mhm. Ok. Well hurry up and tell me already what you were saysing earlier."

"It was nothing, Sanemi. Now leave since you don't want to be seen here."

"Ugh, come on just tell me already!" Yells Sanemi.

"Shinazugawa. He told you to leave. So go away." Says Rengoku.

"You don't tell me what to do asshole."

"Sanemi. Leave right now." Says Giyuu.

"Fine. I'll leave. God damn. Wasted my time."

Sanemi walks off. Tomioka burts into tears and shuts the door. He turns around and hugs Rengoku tightly.

"There, there. Its going to be alright Tomioka." Whispers Rengoku while hugging Tomioka and stroking his hair in a attempt to calm him.

"I love him but he doesn't... Thank you Rengoku."

"Call me.. Kyojuro."

"Ok.. Thank you,  kyojuro. Thank you for being there for me. For holding me when I'm at my lowest. Thank you." Says Tomioka tears flowing down his face.

"It quite alright Tomioka. I feel lucky to be the one who helps you. There's no need to thank me."

"Call me Giyuu. You can call me Giyuu." Says Tomioka while still hugging Rengoku.

Tomioka ended up falling asleep on Rengoku while still hugging him tightly. Rengoku holds him close while rubbing his back.

WITH SANEMI

'Ugh, what a waste of my time. But why the hell was Rengoku with him. Giyuu did look sad and have puffy eyes. I wonder what happend.'

Sanemi continued to walk down a path through the forest to clear his mind. His heart was aching for some unknown reason. Seeing Tomioka and Rengoku close made him annoyed.

He decide to visit a shrine that was close by that was said to tell you how you soulmate looked like.

He never believed in soulmate stuff. He though destined love was fake. But he decided to do it anyway

He tosses a coin into the shrines waterfall and a paper appears it was wet but readable.

Long dark colored hair.

"Woah.. It could be Kanae.. Because who else has long dark coloured hair other than her..." He shrugs and walks off shoving the paper into his pocket.

Time skip

Sanemi had gotten dinner at a restaurant and was now resting in his house. He couldn't help but keep thinking of what the shrine had said.

'Long dark hair.' He said over and over in his mind.

'Who the fuck has long dark hair? Kanae... and... NO! it cant be! Not him. It can't possibly be Giyuu.' He yelled in his head. It started to make him annoyed from thinking about it.

"I should get some sleep." He muttered while turning off the lights.
