Forbiden love. || Sanemi X Giyuu <3

-2- The mission

Sanemi woke up at 8. There is a pillar meeting at 8 30.

"Shit. Im gonna be late." He grunts as he gets out and puts on his uniform and grabs his swords and quickly runs out of his house.

'It'll take me about five minutes to get there and ten minutes if i stop to get breakfast.. Im pretty hungry so I guess it wont hurt.' He quickly runs to a restaurant close by.

When he walks in he sees giyuu was sitting in a corner eating sushi.. but he wasn't alone. "Rengoku. What the hell is he doing here." Me whispers to himself. He was subconsciously jealous. He didnt notice when the waiter was asking him for his order.

"Uhm, sir?" The waiter asks for the fifth time making Sanemi snap back into reality.

"Huh? Oh. I would like rice with a avocado slice and a well cooked egg on top and green tea." He says quickly.

"Very well, sir." The waiter says and walks away. Sanemi shoot a glance at the table where Rengoku and Giyuu are sitting and catches them looking at him. When they notice that they were caught they quickly looks back at their meals.

'The hell is their problem.'

Sanemi's food arrives a couple of minutes later he eats it fast, pays and leaves.

Rengoku and Giyuu finish and pay shortly after.

WITH GIYUU

Rengoku offers to pay for both our meals but I decline he helped me yesterday the least I could do was pay for his food. But before I could he had given the waiter the cash and a tip.

"Theres no need. Lets get going or we're gonna be late for the meeting." He says with a warm smile.

I sigh and give up and just go with him. I notice Sanemi up ahead.

I freeze and Rengoku notices sanemi as well.

"Hey, how about we run to get there faster? It'll be fun!"

I think about it and decide it would help avoid any interaction with Sanemi.

"Yeah, sure."

Without warning Rengoku starts running and I start running after him quickly catching up to him. We run right past Sanemi and I start to smile. Wait.. I .. Smiled? It's been so long since I've smiled..

We soon made it to the Ubuyashiki estate. All the other hashira are already there. The only one missing is Sanemi. After waiting a couple of minutes he finally showed up and the meeting started.

-TIME SKIP TO AFTER THE MEETING-

I had a mission to attend to in a mountain in the far west. I had to have a partner since it was estimated that there would be a twelve kizuki there.

All the other hashira had mission's to attend to except... Sanemi.

'This is going to be ... awkward.'

'What. The. Fuck. I don't want to go on a mission with him! He's annoying to be around.'

Sanemi walks aways not sparing Giyuu a glance. Giyuu saw this and walked after him but before he could catch up to him Rengoku grabs his wrist.

"Be careful Giyuu. You are going to fight a twelve kizuki it could be a ulper moon. I don't want you to get hurt." He says with concern is his voice and in his eyes.

"I'll be fine Kyojuro. I promise. And when I get back I'll take you out to get food, ok?" Says giyuu flashing a small smile.

Rengoku seems to have seen the smile because he smiled back and gave giyuu a small kiss on the forehead and takes off running.

"Bye giyuu!!" He yells while running.

Giyuu is still in shock for what had just happened. Sanemi had also witnessed what had happened and was just as shocked.

"Are you just going to stamd there or are you going to hurry. I want this to be over." He snarled.

I just turn around and walk past him. The mission was deep in the forest maybe it could help me take some things off my mind. I also wanted this to be over as soon as possible saves me less time to think about what happend back there.      Rengoku had kissed my forehead. For some reason It lit something inside me. I don't know what but it felt right when he kissed me. Maybe Sanemi was just not the right one for me..

-TIME SKIP TO THE FOREST-

GIYUUS POV.

The demon was indeed a twelve kizuki but it wasn't a upper moon. It was lower moon 5. Sanemi had walked off because he said there were more than one demon on the mountain. I was running and suddenly i heard sounds of someone yelling. I immediately ran towards where the sound was coming from and found a boar headed boy struggling in a fight.

In a blink of an eye the demons head is gone and its disintegrating. The boar yelled out to me as I was walking anyway.

"HOLD ON A SECOND! FIGHT ME MR. MISMATCHED OUTFIT! YOU BEAT THAT MEMBER OF TWELVE KIZUKI AND NOW RIGHT HERE IM GONNA BEAT YOU!"

I was shocked because he wanted tk fight. Its against the corps rules and in the state he is in its impossible for him to fight for months.

"I have a better idea. Go train more." I said.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?!"

"That wasn't one of the twelve kizuki, could you not even tell that?"
I questioned as I pulled out a rope from my pocket.

"OF COURSE I CAN TELL, FOR YOUR INFORMATION IT WAS TANJIRO WHO WAS SAYING IT WAS ONE OF THEM! I WAS JUST REPEATING WHAT HE SAID TO ME EARLIER! I KNEW THAT AMATEUR COULDN'T BE ONE OF THOSE GUYS!"

-GIYUU FACT-
Something almost nobody knows is that when giyuu feels all fuzzy and warm he starts to cough. Some people get the wrong idea and go away thinking he was ill and needed rest. Which led Giyuu to thinking people we're disgusted by his coughing.
He hasn't felt fuzzy since his Best friend Sabito died protecting him. He thought if only he was a bit stronger and helped Sabito defeat the demon he might have lived. He hurt himself for a while due to the guilt. But when a man with his chest on display accepted his gift with a small smile you could barley see he let out a small cough.

-SANEMI POV-

As I was running I smelled blood and a demon. The demons smell was strong so that meant it was higher rank, possibly a upper rank. 'This'll be fun.'
