Chapter 9

Lyndy was getting anxious as Amy hadn't come back and it was now 4.30, Lou was Just getting out of her car so Lyndy rushed out to say they needed to go and look for her.
She left a note for Jack and Ty before Lyndy, Lou and Katie left.
"Where does she like to trail ride grandma".
"She said she was going out for the day to check as much of Heartland as she could but would be back by 3pm.
I've alerted the soldiers to look as well so hopefully we'll find her soon ".
Jack and Ty were on there way back when they met four soldiers coming towards them.
"Anything wrong Captain".
"Yes Sir, Princess Amy is missing and on our way we found two dead soldiers near the gate, we have search party's out looking Sir".
"How were they killed Captain ".
"It looks like they were mauled Sir".
"Okay, keep searching but be careful".
"Yes Sir".
" Come on Ty let's go".

Lyndy and Lou had searched the usual trails and decided to go further in towards the outer area of Heartland, eventually they saw Jack and Ty then four soldiers coming from the other direction.
They continued on up a small rise and heard screaming and explosions ahead of them. Once they reached the top they were horrified to see Spartan laying on the floor covered in a golden shield and Amy laying on the floor firing fire Spheres at two creatures.
Lou looked horrified at them.
"What the hell are those things".
Jack looked quickly at lou " There called Fae Hell Hounds,  we need to concentrate our fire power together at them, let's go".

When Amy saw them charging forward she threw up her shield and collapsed on the floor, her energy was practically depleted and she was bleeding heavily from their teeth and claws.
The fighting went on for some time, Lyndy was horrified when she saw Jack go down then two of the soldiers.
Lou knew she had the same powers as Amy although Amy's power was a lot more powerful but she had to save her family and those soldiers.
Lou got off her horse and looked deep inside herself for her wizard power, the Hell Hounds were getting weaker and Lou had been practicing the machine gun effect as she'd called it seeing Amy defeat Zordan but so far had only managed to shoot about six at a time, but Lou was so angry at these creatures and who sent them that she was putting everything she had into it.
Her white Spheres exploded out of her hands one after the other hitting both creatures,  one went down so Lou concentrated on the last one as the soldiers took the  other creatures head off. The last one couldn't take the onslaught of Lou's power and exploded into dust.

Ty ran to Amy and Lyndy ran to Jack, they were both hurt bad.
Lyndy stopped the bleeding on Jacks neck so he was out of danger then ran to her Granddaughter who was bleeding badly from neck, back and leg wounds.
Seeing that they were out of danger Lou and Lyndy then ran to Spartan dispersing the shield Amy put up to protect him.
Lyndy was able to heal Spartan within ten minutes with Lou's help, showing and explaining to her how to heal, then Lyndy remembered a soldier went down as well but the Captain had already stopped the bleeding.
"How's Amy and Grampa Ty".
"There'll be fine eventually Lou, that was some serious firing there Lou, thank you".
"I wasn't sure I  could do it but I think my emotions took over, who would bring these things here Ty".
"Only a Wizard could conjure  things like this Lou".
"So who would,,,,, oh god our father, it has to be".
"That's what I'm thinking Lou, how Amy survived fighting two of them is beyond me, one she could of killed easily but two would of worn her down".
One of the soldiers borrowed Lou's horse and rode back for help.
When they got back to Heartland's Ranch House Lyndy asked Ty to put Amy in her old bedroom as it would be easier with the healing for her, with Jack and Amy needing constant healing power every four hours having them in the same place would help her.
"Is Amy going to be okay Lyndy".
"Yes Ty, don't worry, your beautiful wife will get better, she's so exhausted, her healing will take longer, she put up a hell of a fight against those hounds".
"What about Jack".
"He'll be up and about in a couple of days".
"Then I'm going to go back to the fae Realm to inform the Wizards that Taramis is back, they'll send out the hunters to find and kill him".
"What about Amy, your going to leave her here as ill as she is, she's going to need to be able to syphon small amounts of your strength to help her heal Ty. Remember your her mate now, you need each other".
"I know, but I have to do this to protect her".
"No, you don't Ty, send a message to Eleanor, she'll make sure they know".
"Yeah,  your probably right".
