Chapter 1

Amy was a 25 Yr old young woman, living at Heartland with her GrandParents.
Her mother had passed away in a car accident when she was 15yrs old, and she'd been badly injured, although Doctor's had been surprised by her exceptional quick recovery. She had an older sister Lou who had left home when she was 18 and she'd been 8.
She'd got up one morning and washed and dressed then found her mum sat at the kitchen table with her head in her hands crying.
"They've gone Amy, They've left us. Lou and your Dad have left us".
Thing's hadn't been good for some time, her mum and dad were always arguing and he was too free with his fists towards her Mum and herself too. Only Lou escaped any physical harm or being shouted at. She was the favourite, and they were very much alike. Even so her mum was devastated, but Amy was relieved as were her grandparents that the beatings and mental abuse would now stop.
Amy hadn't met anyone she really liked, she dated the Ranch hand when she was 18, he was into his Rodeo but he was gone twice a year for 3 months each time and she found it hard to get into anything romantic as Caleb was only around for 6 months of the year, sometimes she only got to see him for 3 months if he suddenly disappeared on another Rodeo tour, in the end she finished with him. He wanted to marry her and have her give up everything and go off with him but she had her own business to run and didn't want to travel all year in a truck and small sleeping area.

Her Grandfather Jack had rules as any parent or guardian would have for a teenager but grandma Lyndy kept him in order, he was frightened of her even though he was a six foot man and she was only 5 foot 6, when Amy hit 18 her grandma told him to back off and let her enjoy her youth and learn from her own mistakes.
Now at 25 almost 26 she really wanted to meet someone, she was enjoying her life and working with horses but was lonely.
Amy was very busy, not just helping problem Horse's but she also had a knack for healing them.
Amy had no Idea how she was doing it but she always felt like she could hear the horse telling her what was wrong, she never told anyone just incase they thought she was a mental case.
When she moved her hands across the Horse's skin she always felt her palms getting warmer the nearer she got to the problem the horse was having and would keep both hands wrapped around the area as the heat and a small glow from her hands intensified. The following day the horse was cured and she kept that to herself too. Her customers were so pleased they didn't care about how much she charged.
Amy always made those who had money pay for her talent and those who couldn't afford much she either did it for a donation or bartered for things she needed.
She would of done it for free but grandma Lyndy always told her to get something from those who had little otherwise she'd never earn a living and end up with people wanting it done for free all the time. Her grandmother became her mother and her Grampa a father, both taught her about everything they could.
Amy hoped she looked as young as her grandparents do when she reaches the age that they are now and was as wise as they were.
Amy had her own Large Truck and Trailer and completely independent.

Amy got up early, had breakfast and fed and brushed Spartan ready for a trail ride to her favourite place.
Amy approached the the small hill descending down into the meadow, as she approached it she stopped and took in the wonder of this magical place. She could just imagine this place in a fairy tale story, she'd been drawn to this place as far back as she could remember. She'd always had an open mind and thought that anything was possible, she even saw things that she never told anyone incase they took the mickey out of her, especially when she was at school. Amy often thought it was just her imagination with the things she saw.
She set off at a leisurely pace looking everywhere around her, this morning though she thought there was something different about the place, the sky was clear but noticed a shimmer not far from the tree line but carried on going, suddenly she felt something, like tingling and then it was gone.
As she approached the otherside of the meadow and about to enter into the woods Spartan pulled back not wanting to go any further in.
"I wouldn't go in there on your own, it's not safe".
Amy turned to look to where she thought the voice had come from and saw a young man with the shiniest black hair hanging on his shoulders and green eye's.
"Sorry!!!!, I've ridden this area of our property for years and it's completely safe".
"Which direction have you come from may I ask".
Amy wasn't sure if this was some joke or setup as it was her 26th birthday today and this handsome young man was in some peculiar clothes.
"I've just ridden down that hill into the meadow". Amy said turning round to point at the none existing hill that was there a moment ago.
"Where'd the hillside go to".
She turned around to see him looking at her with a weird expression on his face.
"What's wrong".
"Are you Human".
"What sort of question is that, of course I'm human, so are you".
At that he moved his long hair back and Amy just stared at him.
"Okay, okay this has to be a joke or a setup as it's my birthday today, those ears look so real it's amazing ".
"May I ask your name".
"Yes you may, and I'd like your phone number, er forget that last part, sorry I was thinking aloud".
He laughed and Amy's heart missed a beat when she saw his smile.
"My name is Amy".
"My name is Tyrone but you may call me Ty. This is not a joke or as you said a setup. You see Humans cannot enter our Realm, only those with Fae Blood can come through the barrier ".
Amy quickly turned Spartan and galloped away back the same way she'd just come from.
As she went she felt the tingle again and looked back to see the woods how they normally look and the small hill in front of her. She rode back to Heartland as quickly as she could.

When she got back to the Barn she untacked Spartan and brushed him then let him out into the pasture.
She never said anything to anyone and waited to see if they owned up to setting it all up.
By the time she went to bed no one had mentioned anything, she thought she was going mad.

It had been a month since the incident at the meadow and Amy had put it behind her. She'd just finished cleaning the barn when she heard someone behind her.
" Hello again ".
Amy swivels round to look into green eye's looking at her. He was dressed normally in Jean's and a T shirt.
"Tyro,,,, Ty, I thought you were in my imagination".
"No, I'm real".
Just then she heard a Truck approaching and walked past him to see who it was.
"Oh great, just the person I don't want to see".
She turned to look at Ty and he was gone.
The truck pulled up and he got out.
"What are you doing here Jesse, I told you I wasn't interested in working for you when I have a business that's doing really well".
"Actually I came to ask you out on a date, I know we would be great together, with my connections and your talents".
"What you mean is how much money you could charge, I'm already earning a good income. Just leave me alone Jesse, I have No feelings for you or interest in a business deal".
Amy turned around to walk away as Jesse moved forward quickly grabbing Amy by the arm and swinging her around forcefully, then jesse found himself in the air screaming.
She immediately guessed what was happening, sort of. "Sorry Jesse, I should of mentioned that we've attracted a ghost or something and it's very protective".
Jesse found himself back on the ground then something grabbed him by the neck pushing him up against his Truck, then heard a voice that sounded evil and animalistic.
It was suddenly over and Jesse was looking around, Amy had gone but whatever it was still lurched nearby as he could hear it panting like a large animal.
Amy heard Jesse's truck speed off and she laughed to herself.
"Was that you Ty".
She jumped as he appeared in front of her with that smile that just took her breath away.
"I honestly thought it was a sort of illusion, now I know I'm not going mad. So it's all real!! ".
"Yes it is".
"But your ears are not pointed as before".
"No, because I'm using a glamour ".
"A what!! ".
"I've altered the way I look, may I come closer as I think you may have a Glamour on you".
"I've always looked like this Ty, but yeah go ahead ".
Ty moved towards Amy and moved his hand in front of her while muttering some words.
He looked at Amy and dropped to his knee. "Your Majesty, forgive me , with the glamour I could not feel your magic or hereditary".
"Okay Ty, stop fooling around and get up".
"I am not, look at yourself please".
Amy was certain he was fooling about and walked to the small mirror in the office. She stood there looking at herself not saying a word.
She had the same ears as Ty and her eyes were a little narrowed but wider, her complexion was amazing, but what stood out the most was a blue crystal that matched her eye colour inbedded into her forehead.
"Ty, what the hell is this". Amy pointing to the crystal.
"That's the sign of Royalty princess, that's how I knew".
"Flaming hell".
"Would you like me to put the glamour back".
"Er no thank you, not yet. I need answers from my grandparents so if they see me, hopefully they will tell me what the've been hiding".

Amy looked out of the Barn to check that the coast was clear and headed for the Ranch House. As she and Ty walked in the mudroom she called out to Jack and Lyndy.
"In the kitchen Amy".
"There's something I need answers to Grampa".
"Oh and what's that! ".
Amy walked in and stood facing them both with her hands on her hip's, the look of shock on their faces made Amy wonder if they actually knew anything about it.
"OH, erm yes, how, when did".
"I'd like to introduce Tyrone who I met a month ago when I, as he said rode through a barrier into another Realm, I thought it was a joke as that day was my birthday, do you both know about this? ".
"Yes Amy, err we do and it's nice to see you again Tyrone, it's been a long time".
Jack and Lyndy moved a hand up and over there heads while they muttered a word and Amy saw them the same as herself.
"Your Majesty's ". said Ty as he went down on one knee.
"Get up Ty there's no need for that here".
Amy saw the jewels in their foreheads and although Fae they only looked in there very early 40s.
"Grampa, Grandma you only look in your early 40s, how old are you really".
"Well let us think a minute, it's been a long time, Errrrrrr I would have to say we're 360 human years old, do you agree Lyndy".
"Yes your right".
"Then how old am I".
"Ha ha, your 26 Amy".
"Oh right yeah, duh".
Amy looked at Ty raising her eyebrows.
"I'm 170 Amy".
"Sheesh, you look my age".
"Amy, sit down and we will explain what happened for us to end up here".
"Oh okay, I'm all Ears". Amy started giggling quietly and so did Jack and Lyndy. Amy sat as did Ty.
