Cold Heart

I dedicate this to Cuinn. You mean everything to me.

What happened to the girl who was loving and sweet,

Who cried at the thought of abuse, suicide or war?

What happened to the girl that was happy,

believing the best in everyone?

What happened to that girl?
She was replaced by me.

A girl who cries herself to sleep,

A girl with blood dripping down her arm,

A girl who throws up her every meal and rarely eats,

A girl who wants the pain to end,

A girl that tried to commit suicide,

A girl that is oh so selfish,

A girl that is fat,

A girl that is worthless,

A girl that is nothing to this broken world.

A girl with a cold heart,

Turned out against the wind of humanity.

But when I see you, I feel my heart melting,

I love you,

I've loved you from the start.

I stuck by you those five long months you ignored me,

And came to your aid when I heard you wanted to end it all, even though you didn't want my help,

Even though I was the one who needed help,

Though you couldn't see the pain you caused me.

You didn't care,

You didn't love me,

And it made me feel so worthless.

But three months later,

My heart still belongs to you,

Even though I haven't talked to you in a few months,

When one day,

You tell me we need to talk,

My heart starts pounding,

I'm so nervous,

Can't talk, Can't breathe,

I'm so afraid,

But its nothing.

You tell me you love me too,

That you just didn't realize it,

And now your all mine,

I love you,

Your the one who made my cold heart thaw.
