sunghoon: 

[tonight was pretty fun.]

[your friends are funny and have a nice vibe.]

jake:

[well, of course! they are my friends after all.]

sunghoon:

[they're kinda like you...]

[expect for heeseung-hyung. he's a little...quiet and cool? you know? why isn't he popular? i think he should be popular instead of me.]

jake:

[no! heeseung-hyung is the opposite of that!! he's like a mess once you get to know him. most of the time he doesn't know what he's talking about]

sunghoon:

[really?]

jake:

[yes!! he's a total mess, always on other planet.]

sunghoon:

[well, jay-hyung also has a temper, huh?]

jake:

[trust me. that's not all his personality traits.]

sunghoon:

[we should do this again]

jake:

[yeah, i'll tell them]

sunghoon:

[okay, good night. see you tomorrow]

jake:

[i'll see ya! goodnight]

jake turns off his phone as he texts his last goodbye to his friend. it's midnight by the time they're done talking. after karaoke, they all left to their homes, sunghoon walked jake to his. but, they decided to talk a little more in texting. it ended up being a whole 4 hours. talking and teasing and waiting. mostly jake waited impatiently or his friend's texts. 

tomorrow is the last day of the week, meaning jake and sunghoon have 2 free days for themselves. jake is jittery about it. he feels excited about it, but also nervous. he hates feeling this way, just the thought of sunghoon makes him flustered. 

jake takes a deep breath in as he tries to fall asleep. 

nope. 

he can't sleep.

jake ended up going to school on his own as he woke up late. sunghoon was not there when he got out of the house, he expected it, since he woke up pretty late. 

at lunch, sunghoon texted jake telling him he won't be able to have lunch with him since he has to take care of something. he didn't say what, but jake just let it go. he walked to the cafeteria to find his friends. he has 5 friends, excluding sunghoon since he's best friends with him and he's known him the most. 

while he's not able to hangout with sunghoon he likes to hangout with heeseung-hyung and jay-hyung. jungwon and sunwoo are second years, riki is a first year, so he doesn't get to see them most of the time. 

"what's up, jake?" jay's the first one to speak.

"oh, hey," heeseung greets, putting a grape in his mouth. 

"i have a question." jake states, looking at them both in the eyes.

"shoot." they both said in sync. 

"what would you if your best friend had liked you? like, like-like you." jake said before taking a grape from heeseung and eating it. 

"well...geez, i would be so glad!" jay exclaimed, his face say something like, who-wouldn't?
