Callen noticed Hetty was feeling a bit down since she came home, so, he decided to see what was up.

'Couldn't help but notice you've been feeling a bit blue since you came home. Care to say?

'I don't know. I guess, I miss Miss Jones and Mr. Beale. I've been so used to seeing them in OPS over the years, and now they've retired and are in Japan, and I only saw Nell as she was leaving. I wish I could've had more time to spend with them this year.' Hetty unhappily replied.

'Well, can you just call them?'

'They're too busy settling in, so they're too busy to call.'

'Hmm. Well, guess all I can say for this is, be patient. They'll call when they're able to.' Callen finished.

After he left her office, he made a phone call.

'Hi. I know you're busy, but can you please call Hetty when you can? She misses you both, and would like to talk to the both of you.'

Sure enough, the next night, Hetty got a call from Nell!

'We haven't had much time to spend together in the last year, and now I'm home and you and Mr. Beale are living in Japan. I guess I just really miss you, and I got so used to seeing you and Mr. Beale in OPS. Seems so empty now.' She said.

'Aww. I miss you too, Hetty! And I'll admit, this move has been a bigger adjustment then I thought. And I'll admit to also missing OPS as well. But, Eric and I are finally happy together, and we're not just going to forget OPS overnight.' Nell replied.

'I know. I hope you and Mr. Beale continue to have a good life.'

'Hey, what's up with you?' Everyone treating you well?' Nell asked.

'Things have been well. Except for that grumpy admiral always being on my case about a lot of things. Not even Owen was this annoying!' Hetty replied.

'I know, right?! Like, why is he even around so much anyways?'

'Probably just to keep an eye on me. Like every other annoying politician out there who's ever wanted me to be partnered up with someone!'

Both ladies laughed.
