Giyuu paced from one side of the room to another while thinking hard. If he was related to Muzan, how would Uzui, Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru react? Uzui was still a demon slayer.

Would they try to kill him? Abandon him? Ignore his existence? Or will they not care and keep living the same life they always had?

"Giyuu stop pacing damnit." Sakura called out as she entered the room, files in hand. He perked up.

"Well?" She sighed.

"Just take a look at the note I made on the side of the paper." She handed him the folded documents.

On the side there was a note written neatly in beautiful handwriting.

'DNA is near identical. Possibly a father or sibling. Most likely the former.'

He stopped breathing. Sakura's brows knit together. "Who's DNA even was that? It seemed out of the ordinary."

Giyuu looked up. "... Muzan Kibutsuji's." She tensed.

"Oh shit."

She was quick to look around. "I'll remove the traces of the blood test from your medical records. Make it seem like it was only a check up. Now go. You'll have to hide those papers or burn them."

He nodded. "Thank you Sakura. I'll buy you some fruit next time I visit."

She smiled and nodded before she was quickly called into a surgery in another room.

He turned on his heel and his the papers in his hands. He began to run for the forest, trying to return to the cave. When he found the waterfall, he slowly stepped into the cave, making sure the papers don't get wet.

Muzan was sitting in a chair, reading a book nearby a small fire. He looked up and closed the book.

Giyuu silently handed him the papers. Muzan's eyes scanned the papers before a soft smile bloomed on his face.

"I knew it." He stood and looked Giyuu over. "You do look a lot like me and your mother. It's been so long..." He whispered.

Giyuu slowly sat down next to the man in a chair the other had gotten in there somehow. Muzan gently hugged him from the side.

"I always wondered what happened to you. I found your sister and killed the demon who did it but you were just gone." Giyuu looked up.

"I ran away. They tried to call me crazy and tried to send me away to get 'mental help'." Muzan frowned.

Giyuu looked at the sunlight that managed to get through the waterfall. Muzan was just out of reach.

"You should go." Muzan spoke. Giyuu looked up. "Your friends must be worried. I'll try my best to keep in contact with you okay Giyuu?"

He nodded. "Bye..." He whispered to himself. He silently walked out of the cave with his head low.

"Goodbye Giyuu." Muzan mumbled quietly.

Giyuu easily made his way through the forest and back to the now wide awake village. He weaved through the people who complained about their hangovers from the night before.

Giyuu finally broke from the crowd to go and find his way back to the sound estate. He could hear the people inside talking in what seemed to be concerned voices.

He slowly pushed the door open and the voices fell silent. Then footsteps were running at him. Suma jumped and hugged him tightly followed by everyone else.

Shinobu and Rengoku were there as well. They pestered him with questions but he just kept hugging them, knowing it might be the last time he'll ever get the chance to feel the warmth.

They seemed to have gotten the hint and fell silent, hugging just a little tighter. His eyelids began to feel droopy. He still hadn't slept after all.

The events of the night caught up to him at last and he fell asleep, his body falling right into Uzui's embrace.

They fretted over him and all the small cuts for a while as Shinobu patched him up. She saw the papers in his pocket and grabbed them.

They were folded neatly. She felt the temptation to open them, but chose to wait for Tomioka to wake up.

They laid him down in their futon gently and tucked him in, closing the blinds and curtains. He curled into himself and slept soundly. They left the room slowly as to not disturb his sleep.

Everyone settled in the kitchen. Rengoku spoke first. "He looked pretty messed up. The forest did a number on him." He stated softly.

"Yeah. He was so tired! Looks like he didnt end up falling asleep in wherever he hid." Suma added.

"I'm more worried about the look in his eyes," Hinatsuru mumbled. "He looked so.... terrified."

"I wonder what he saw in such a flamboyant forest." Uzui added smoothly.

"Whoever hurt him I'll kill them." Makio added as a last thought.

Shinobu sighed. "He went to the hospital at one point." They looked at her. "He had a medical file in his pocket with his name on it. I didn't open it because I wanted to wait for him."

They glanced at each other. "Ao he went to the hospital but didn't get those cuts treated?" Uzui asked with a deadpan tone.

"This is Giyuu we're talking about. He probably said he didn't need the help." Hinatsuru stated.

They all agreed on that one. Uzui sighed. "Alright we're all tired. We've all been up all night. Rengoku, Shinobu you guys can take a spare room. Let's get some sleep and talk in when we wake up."

They all nodded. "Thank you." Shinobu said as she yawned and walked into the room she was shown. Rengoku took the one next to hers.

The other four were quick to go back to their own room and snuggled up to the sleeping beauty.
