So, here I was, alone in the apartment I shared with Steve. We had become closer, though he was playing hard to get, but I'm not gonna force him to go out with me. In due time, he will come to understand that I am the perfect one for him. Though, I do wish he'd hurry his ass up, but he's a boomer, so, you know, what can you do?
Steve was off doing his early morning run. I had just got out of the shower and was now sitting on the bed in a towel. I still had like another hour before he came back anyway, so it was fine. I was watching TV. Though, I began getting cold so I decided to get dressed. You know, Steve prefers sleeping on the ground rather than in a bed, and no not because I'm in it, but because he thinks it's too soft. That's when my phone went off. I picked it up and looked at it
Nat🕷: Hey, meet me outside Already got fossil Mission
I grinned as I left the apartment. I then walked outside and saw Natasha and Steve
"Get in" She said
"I'm working on it" I said as I entered the vehicle. Natasha took off

We were in a plane
"Target is a mobile satellite launch platform. The Lemurian Star. They were sending up their last payload when pirates took them. 93 minutes ago" Rumlow explained
"Any demands?" Steve asked
"Billion and a half" Rumlow said
"Why so steep?" Steve asked
"Because it's S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" Rumlow said
"So it's not off-course. It's trespassing" Steve told me and Natasha
"I'm sure they have a good reason" Natasha said
"Man, why do we have to do this shit? I'm not even allowed to blow it up" I complained
"You know, now that you say that. I'm getting a little tired of being Fury's janitor" Steve said
"Relax, you two. It's not that complicated" Natasha said. I rolled my eyes
"How many pirates?" Steve asked
"25. Top mercs led by this guy. George Batroc. Ex-DGSE, Action Division. He's at the top of Interpol's Red Notice. Before the French demobilized him, he had 36 kill missions. This guy's got a rep for maximum casualties" Rumlow said
"Hostages?" Steve asked
"Mostly techs. One officer. Jasper Sitwell. They're in the galley" Rumlow said
