Ashleigh's POV;
The next day we were all up bright and early so we could check tonight's venue for the concert, I'd be lying if I said I was excited for it. To be honest I was petrified but I didn't want to let the band down, so I didn't say anything.
We walked into the venue and it was kind of intimidating all of the chairs were put away so it made the room look even bigger and the stage looked like it could swallow me up. I swallowed nervously and looked around some more, I decided to watch the band do their sound check. They looked so natural when they performed like they were born to do this. Ross looked at me since I was stood backstage and motioned for me to come on, I smiled nervously even though it was just a sound check a few crew members were around and that was about it.
"So what do you think?" He asked once I reached him, I faked a smile and nodded to hide my nerves.
"It's awesome" I said with as much enthusiasm as I could muster and I even threw in a fist pump to the air to add to it, he chuckled at me and leaned closer to my ear.
"It's ok to be nervous Ash" I sighed deeply as I looked at him as he pulled back slightly.
"Was I that obvious?"
He nodded his head, I looked down at my feet and shuffled them slightly. "But hey that's only because I've known you for so long and I've never seen you pump your fist before". I giggled at him and looked up at him. "Just remember I'll be right here with you when you sing". I nodded my head starting to feel a bit better.
"Now c'mon we've only got a few hours before the show begins" He said grabbing my hand and pulling me backstage.

Ashleigh's POV;
I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I looked down at my outfit to what it looked like all together, it consisted of; a black leather skirt with a studded bralet and a denim jacket over the top which stopped at my elbows. My shoes were a pair of ankle boots with studs on the heel. As you can probably tell by now Rydel helped me get ready, she also did my make up which was a Dark Smokey eye with glitter on it and pale pink lips. I looked completely glam rock but I didn't feel it.
I took a few deep breaths trying to calm my nerves while I waited for the others to get ready. I was just about to start freaking out again when I heard a knock at the door, I coughed to get rid of the shakiness in my voice.
"Come in" I called out and waited to see who it was in the mirror's reflection, I was relieved when I saw it was Ross. It walked in and closed the door behind him, he turned and looked at me with a smile tugging at his lips.
"You look beautiful Ash" I blushed and thanked him but nothing could distract me right now, I was to busy freaking over the performance to much. Ross must of noticed because he came over and hugged me from behind.
"Your gonna do great Ash" He whispered into my hair before kissing the back of my head, I closed my eyes and shook my head before removing his hands and turning around to face him.
"No I'm not, I can't do this Ross" I said as I felt tears burning my eyes, a few escaped before I could hide them.
"Yes you can Ash, listen to me" He said. He grabbed my hands and kissed them, not taking his eyes off of mine. "Your gonna do amazing, I've heard you sing and you have a breath taking voice. I believe in you Ash, I know you can do this" He looked into my eyes and wiped the tears that started to fall. "OK?" He whispered.
I nodded my head, I kissed him gently and then giggled to myself because he had lipstick on his lips, I wiped it away with my thumb. He smiled as soon as he heard me giggle and started to play with my hair.
