Chapter 27~Leave Out All The Rest

Frank's P.O.V.

I walked downstairs to greet my dad before I went to school, but he wasn't there. 'Must've left early for work,' I thought. I grabbed my backpack and left for school.

Gerard was still mad at me, but I waited out front of the school for him anyway. Gerard walked right by me like everyday, but had a confused look on his face. I sighed and waited for Mikey.

"Hey Mikey-"

"Where's Frank?" Andy cut me off.

"Who knows? Who cares? He keeps trying to talk to Gerard. He doesn't get that he's mad at him."

I felt tears come to my eyes. "If  you thought that, you could've just told me, asshole," I snapped and went to first period. I sighed, another day with Gerard ignoring me. I sat in my corner again and Gerard sat in his.

When the bell rang the teacher walked in looking distraught.(a/n sorry if i used that word wrong)

"Before we start class today I have an announcement," she said. "Frank Iero is missing. If you've seen him or have any information on him you can go to the office or call the police."

"What!" I yelled. "I'm right here!"

Gerard looked really upset. I saw tears in his eyes. He stood and ran out of the room. I followed him to the bathroom where he pulled out a blade and put it to his leg.

"No Gerard!" I yelled. He dropped the blade and ran out of the bathroom. "Where are you going?" I mumbled to myself. I followed Gerard to the underclassmen's hall where Gerard went into one of the classes.

"I-I need to see my brother," he told the teacher.

"You can't just take him out of class."

"Please," he begged. "Someone in our family is missing and he deserves to know," he whispered.

"Fine. Micheal, your brother wants to talk to you. Be back in fifteen minutes."

Mikey got up and scurried out of the room after Gerard. "What's wrong?"

"Frank. He's missing," Gerard answered. Tears fell down his cheeks.

"Gerard, why are you crying? You've been mad at him for the last three days and now you're upset?" Mikey spat.

"Because I love him!" Gerard yelled and ran off. I tried to follow again, but everything went black and I woke up to see my ceiling in my room.

I sat up and looked around. I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. 

"Woah," my dad said. "Why are you running? You should be getting ready."

I sighed in relief. "I had a dream I was missing and no one cared."

"Well, I would care. And so would all your friends. Now get ready for school." I ran back to my room and got ready as quickly as I could.

I walked to school and thought about my dream. What if Mikey really didn't care if I was missing? What if he really thinks I should leave Gerard alone? Would Gerard really be upset if I was missing? I doubt it. He's still mad, he wouldn't care. I fought back the tears as I walked into school. I won't wait for them today. They don't care anyways.

"Frank!" I heard Sandra called. I stopped and let her catch up. As soon as I looked up at her, her face fell. "What happened?"

"I dreamed I was missing and no one cared."

"I care about you! And so do Gerard, Mikey and Andy. There are plenty of people who care about you, Frank."

"But what if they don't? Mikey was happy so I could finally leave Gerard alone. I've just been bothering him with trying to make him forgive me. I don't even know what I did. I doubt Gerard would care much either."

"Frank Anthony Iero. You are crazy if you thing Gerard wouldn't care that you went missing. He seems upset that he won't talk to you."

I sighed and just walked on.

"I have an idea," Sandra said. "Write him a letter. Tell him how you feel and that you don't know why he's mad. I'll put it in his locker and make sure he reads it."

I thought about it. "I have a better idea. I could give it to him with the research for English." Sandra smiled wildly and nodded enthusiastically.

"Get started so you can give it to him today!"

"I'll do it tonight. There's a lot I want to say." She nodded.

"Give it to me tommorow morning so I can read it." I nodded and we went to class.

When I got home I immediatly started on the letter for Gerard.

Dear Gerard,I started.

Before you put this down please just listen. I know you're mad at me but there's a few things I want to say. One thing is I don't know why you are mad. If it's because of me not answering you the other day, I'm soo sorry. My dad took us to a nice restaraunt, and when I tried to text you he took my phone and wouldn't give it back. I tried to call you as soon as we left but you didn't answer. I'm sorry if I upset you, but I didn't mean to.

I may seem strong on the surface but not all the way through. I've never been perfect, like you were to me.

You've probably stopped reading by now because you don't care, but I thought you should know I still do. You are the most important person in my life. Last night I had a dream that I was missing and no one else cared because they were all mad I wouldn't leave you alone. From now on I will. I noticed that I'm not getting anywhere with it but upsetting you and that's the last thing I want.

There is one last thing I'd like you to know though. When my time comes, forget the wrong that I've done. Don't resent me. Forget all the hurt I caused inside. I want you to be happy. And when you're feeling empty remember: you're always in my memory.
