MYRA
"You've been in there for quite some time now." He added and I slid my index finger on Santiagos lips in means of keeping him quiet as his large hands remained on my waist.
"I-I'm okay, I'll be down in a second." I replied as I felt a smile grow on Santiagos lips.
Santiago seemed to not care at all by the way he just shamelessly stared down at me and raised his hand to caress my cheek.
"Are you sure?" He reassured and I nodded as if he'd see me.
"Yes. Don't worry." I responded.
"Okay... we're leaving soon. I'll be downstairs." Chris said and his steps followed him as he walked away. Our eyes met again once Chris' footsteps completely faded away down the stairs and I instantly pushed Santiago off by his chest.
He let out a deep chuckle as he stumbled back on his feet, his adams apple bopping at the move.
"I'm glad you think this is funny." I rolled my eyes at him and tapped my heated cheeks with the palms of my hands, "We could've gotten caught because of you."
"We didn't, did we? " He said shrugging it off and I sighed as I came down from the daze he put me in.
"You know what? I'm not entertaining this little game of yours." I huffed and annoyingly walked to the direction of the door.
"Wait, wait, wait Myra-" He rushed to grab my wrist causing me turn my head around to him.
"Can you let go of me?" I angrily trailed my eyes down at his tattooed hand wrapped around my wrist. "You wouldn't want your fiancée finding you in here."
Honestly speaking, that would be the death of me.
"I don't care about that. Myra, can we talk-" I cut him off.
"They're going to think something is up." I pulled my own hand away from his hold seeing as he wasn't even inching his hand away, "I'll be out and then you can leave a few minutes after."
Not giving him a chance to respond, I placed my hand on the knob and flung the door open to the bright silent halls and shut the door behind me. A soft breath escaped throughout my lips as I walked straight with my eyes ahead and my arms on my sides.
What was that in there? I had no self-control. Which brings me back to the reasons why I have to get as far away from him.
He's trouble.
Not too long after I reached the bottom floor and said my my goodbyes to the Moretti family. Mrs. Moretti splashed me with kind words as her husband stood beside her with a cigar between his lips.
"You looked stunning tonight." Elena slid in and complimented with a wide smile and I slightly smiled.
Why is she so kind? It's making me feel so bad.
"Thank you, so do you." I returned the compliment with a smile. She truly did look beautiful with a light brown thin dress that flowed down to her ankles and her black shiny hair flowing down to the middle of her back.
"You know, I've been meaning to ask you something." She started with her hands on her hips and I nodded curiously.
"Sure, what is it?" I asked.
"I know it might sound weird seeing as we don't really know eachother but why don't we meet up sometime later?" She suggested and I could feel my stomach drop at the thought.
What do I do?
As much as I don't want to do this, I can't decline the offer. Everytime I look at her it only reminds me of what I did behind her back.
