Friends are the only thing keeping your insanity sane.
During dinner. Dumbledore announced that Enzo was resorted into Slytherin. To say everyone was beyond shocked would be an understatement. Severus was not pleased to have another troublemaker in his house.
Then soon time passed by, the three friends grew even closer, now being in the same house and sharing a room. All night study sessions, chatting and small parties were a daily occurrence in their dorm.
Cordelia walked down the halls after having a nice chat with her father, the dark clouds covering the skies in a gloomy hue. But Cordelia didn't think so, she thought that days where it was cloudy were the best. It wasn't sweaty hot neither it was freezing cold. Just the temperature to have a nice cup of hot chocolate or a big sundae of ice cream.
Cordelia was wearing a simple white shirt with sweatpants. It was a weekend. As she walked, the slow rhythm of the rain filled her ears and she got excited as it grew faster and heavier. Cordelia loved getting wet in the rain.
Students were crowding the courtyard under the shed, enjoying the weather but none of them dared to step out. Cordelia scoffed and ran down to the forbidden forest. Her friends were busy arguing when she had slipped away from their senseless quarrel.
Cordelia ran freely, feeling the cold water slowing drenching her as she reached a clearing. She closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of the cold droplets on her skin pouring heavily.
She loved rain. She thought they were the perfect way to show different emotion, when the rain was heavy, the way it drops down to earth making angry noises. It showed anger. When you watched rain from behind your window as the droplets slid down the glass as If it were crying. It showed sadness. How everyone felt happy when it rained. It expressed happiness. She loved rain. She felt free under the mercy of the crying skies.
She splashed into a puddle as a voice yelled.

Castor's hand trembled as he read through the price of paper again and again wishing it were all a lie. A silly prank his friends decided to pull on him. But no, the more he read it, the more he realised, it was not a nightmare he could wake up from. It was the reality. The reality where everything was crumbling apart and he couldn't do anything.
In that moment of panic, he could only think of one person.
Cordelia.
He knew she had given up on trying to get him to talk to her but he couldn't help it. He felt that if he let her any closer, she will be ripped apart from him just like his friends. And he couldn't bear that, so he distanced himself from her.
Castor glanced outside, only realising then, the hardt downfall and he knew at that instant where he was going to find you.
He ran through the halls, still trembling, trying to keep the tears in. He ran faster and saw the clearing. He felt the tears, he desperately tried to push back resurface seeing how happy Cordelia was as splashed in a puddle.
"Cordelia!" He called out, the said girl turned around and the dam broke as her eyes met his.
His body raked with sobs he couldn't hold anymore and he ran, ran faster than he ever had towards her.
Cordelia was highly suprised when she saw Castor as she turned around and she only got more suprised as the boy burst into tears. She didn't know what to do but she decided to let her heart lead her brain as the boy ran towards her.
