by this point in time all the yakshas were dead other than the anemo yaksha, xiao. y/n is similar the yakshas but is considered an adeptus. like she had mentioned before she was made for war. a tool. the yakshas were made to purge evil from liyue but since there is no war she helped the yakshas with their duty. rex lapis had made her to have immense power but she hadn't unlocked her full potential. he'd made sure it only came out when it needed but she could have the power come out whenever she wanted to, but she didn't know how to, yet. she was also gifted with a electro vision. she is a sword wielder but she has learnt the art of the polearm. her and xiao would train with each other's weapons. she also has the weight of karmic debt. she's very much similar to them just she has a lot more power than them but she doesn't know how to unlock it. the reason she isn't a yaksha is she feeds off karma. she can also leach off others karma. the only setback is if she has to much karmic debt she'll go insane.

but now she will come to use.

rex lapis had thought of an idea. since she had spent so much time with xiao and others that are now gone and the amount of help she did he thought she'd deserve the title of yaksha.

but the timing couldn't have been worse.

he'd wanted xiao to make it feel like he had a comrade she'd already had been but official. so he summoned the two to his domain. the two were found kneeling to their god.

"xiao, y/n. you may raise your heads. i know the passing of your the other yakshas is devastating and is affecting us all. but i have a proposal."

both of them had looked up towards me with curiosity in their eyes. i knew that the electro yaksha that had passed away, bosacius were very important to them. an older brother. both of them were heartbroken by his death. but i think this a good idea, to let y/n have her title as yaksha as she deserves it.

"you two must be wondering why i have summoned you. well i've thought that y/n deserves the title of yaksha."

"what." xiao says in a cold tone
"what you're basically saying is you want y/n to replace one of the yakshas. is this some plan of yours to replace bosacius. is this what you've called us for a useless meeting. you know not everyone can bear the title yaksha they must be smart at making decisions and control their emotions. and would you look at that y/n cant do any." xiao states coldly.

"are you saying i'm not capable of a title, xiao it's just a title" y/n says irritated

"yaksha isn't any title y/n." xiao says sternly

before y/n could finsh her sentence she gets cut off by xiao

"your only excuse is 'i'm made for war and nothing else'. you've never shown your power so what's the point of giving you a title of high prestige". he says piercing into her e/c eyes.

"xiao it isn't my fault i don't even know how to even to use it without being in a dire situation." y/n says getting more irritated by the second

"you're nothing but useless, you bring nothing but trouble to yourself. that's why your power comes out in dire situations" he says coldly.
