Prying myself out of bed the morning after the party was a struggle to say the least. My eyelids were weary and my head was spinning in circles.

My memory of the night before had been limited to moments with Steve and a lot. A LOT. Of alcohol.

I read through my texts and looked through my pictures trying to recall what happened the night before. No major hints.

I grabbed some blue flared jeans and a floral white corset top. We all left for school. We decided it would be best for mine and Janes reputation and stories if we acted like normal kids.

...

The boys took El to the AV club to meet their favourite teacher. I wandered the vast corridors to find my locker and my friends. Luckily I found both at once.

I strolled to the end of the hallway and saw Tommy sat on a bench, Carol purching on his lap. Nancy and a slightly taller ginger lady who from the stories i've heard im assuming is Barb. She wasn't at the party.

Then I saw him. Leaning against the locker laughing at something Tommy had said.

' Hey guys! '

I announced myself. Walking towards them finally stopping, standing next to Steve. He wrapped his arm around my waist, placed a gentle kiss on my forehead and brought me closer to him. Burying my head in his neck.

' Goodmorning babe. '

I turned to the brunette in the corner, her eyes were sagging and she looked tired. Hungover.

' How's your head Nance? '

She smiled slightly looking down at the floor.

' I'll live. '
She finally said looking up at me.

' How are you feeling? You definitely weren't taking it easy last night. '

Steve turned me to face him. Holding one of my hands in his own, using the other to stroke a stray strand of hair from my face and brush it behind my ear.

' My head is killing me. But i'll be fine.'

' Have you taken anything for it? '

I nodded no.

' Thought that might be your answer. '

He turned around to the locker he was leaning on and twisted the ebony black lock, clicking it on each number until the silver knob popped open. Out from the locker he pulled a bottle of water and a box of paracetamol.

He reached it out to me. I took them from him.

' Thank you. '

I was smiling. I was blushing. I was smiling and blushing. I was all of the above. I gave him a kiss and sat down beside Tommy. Starting to undo the bottle as they spoke. Once it went quiet I piped up.

' Do any of you guys have lockers by E3? That's my locker and I have no clue where it is. '
I chuckled. Rather embarrassed by my stupidity.
