It's the 46th day.

In three days, it will be back to reality once again. We're here at a hot spring resort. We're going to spend the night here.

"Hey, love," she said as she sat down beside me. We're dipping ourselves right now in the hot springs, and it's peaceful since it's just the two of us.

"Hmm?" I looked at her. My eyes trained on her cleavage. She'll forever be hot and attractive in my eyes.

"Stay with the girls... after I leave," she looked at me straight in the eyes. "I don't want you to be all lonely by yourself again. At least stay with Jihyo or someone."

I looked away and stared into space. Okay, a life forever without Chaeyoung on my bed when I wake up. A life forever without her making meals in our kitchen. A life forever without her cuddling with me late at night while watching TV. And the most hurtful of all, a life without her in my arms forever.

"Love?" she snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned my head to look at her.

"Hmm?"

"I said, I don't want you to be alone when I'm gone. So I wish you'd stay with the girls for the meantime."

I just slowly nodded. I still can't get the sad thoughts away. I heavily sighed as she slowly puts my head on her bare shoulder.

"It's okay, love. I can promise you one thing," she massaged my shoulders.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I'll wait for you, up there," she pointed to the sky. "And I'll be watching over you, protecting you."

I can feel myself crying again.

"Then, when the time comes... I'll be the one to welcome you. I'll assure you."

I wrapped my arms around her waist and buried my head on her chest. "I hope that time comes immediately."

"Don't say that. There's more to life, you know?"

What's more to life when you're not in it? I thought, but I didn't speak it out. I just let all the emotions in.
