Before you start the chapter , I want you to know that the story would contain sensitive topics surrounding cheating, betrayal, bullying and making someone's personal life go viral. Moreover I wanted to keep the ending as real as possible.

"Do you perhaps need a hug Jeno?" Jaemin said as he tilted his head to the side to look at his boyfriend.

Jeno didn't look at him in the eye. He is fidgety. He never felt guiltier than this in his entire life.

Everything is going to end.

Jaemin was confused with his behavior. Usually Jeno would be chirpy and bubbly but now he looked as if something was eating him up from inside. He asked him but he declined.

Perhaps a hug would help?

Jaemin is beyond innocent and Jeno knew it. His purity attracted both those who wanted to protect him and those who wanted to take advantage of him, like his boyfriend himself.

It should be easy for Jeno right? Just use and throw the boy after making sure he has the things he need?

But no, Jeno didn't realize that he started to fall for him with each step he took towards hurting Jaemin.

"Umm" Jeno replied and open his arms for Jaemin to jump in. He felt like his whole world was in his embrace.

"Jeno! I hope your troubles run away soon. And I want you to remember that I will always be there with you. I'll listen to everything that you want to say. I love you so much." Jaemin said as he squished himself more to the latter.

At that very moment, Jeno wanted to die.

"T-tell me y-you didn't do this! Please Jeno?" Jaemin was breathing heavily as tears streamed down his face. He was standing in front of his locker that was covered with horrible remarks and comments, along with pictures that he sent to his boyfriend....those images were only meant for Jeno to see.

Jaemin felt like a wave of nausea hit him when he realized how badly he was played with. He couldn't believe his boyfriend for two freaking years did this to him. The boy who brought him the world in a heartbeat, the man he saw his future with betrayed and humiliated him in front of the whole school.

The crowd was laughing at him, mocking him and calling him disgusting names.

"Yes I did this Jaemin. Aren't you surprised?" Jeno replied with a smirk lacing his lips. He cockily put his trembling hands inside the pocket as he smiled his eye smile at him.

Jeno's heart clenched when he saw Jaemin's defeated eyes. He wanted to undo everything and take Jaemin away to a safe place.

But what place could be safe if it was with Jeno?

"Why?" Jaemin's quiet yet broken whisper made Jeno's breath hitch.

What would he tell him? That his parents lost their mind when Jaemin consecutively topped the exams, beating Jeno to the second position? That his rich parents forced him to hurt Jaemin or else they would kill him? Or that he became a scapegoat who refused to use his own damn mind? A coward who took satisfaction by ruining the life of an innocent boy?

"Enough Jaemin! Don't freaking bother me anymore. Fucking loser!" Jeno walked ahead avoiding the pleading eyes of Jaemin.

Jeno heard people laughing at him, he heard him yelp in pain when someone kicked him, he heard him cry when the crowd left him but he didn't turn back once.

Amidst the scattered picture and hateful letters, Jaemin sat there burying his face between his palms as he sobbed relentlessly.

He didn't hear someone rushing towards him, stepping on those pictures and sitting beside him.

He didn't know when he was being engulfed in a warm hug by someone.

Jaemin just cried and cried in the arms of the stranger until he was tired.

Also a gentle reminder, the story is purely fictional and no hate is intended towards and would be tolerated to the real person.

However it's absolutely fine to like or dislike the fanfiction portrayal of the person as a character.
