BBF (4.2) : Blind Date

I woke up, Wendy screaming because of the online fanmeet of her favorite idol, she got tickets.

"Stop it! I'm trying to sleep here!" I shouted, throwing a pillow.

"Hoy! Hoy! It's already 4am po, today's date is Saturday, wala naman po kayo sigurong lakad ngayong araw diba?" She sarcastically stated, hands on her hips.

Right! My date with Dane!

Agad akong bumangon and slammed my head with pillow.

"Joke lang, eto naman atat. 8am na po. Mamayang 5pm pa po yung kasal este date niyo." She added, then continued screaming. Tsk. It's Saturday kaya wala siyang pasok.

"Did Dane texted you where we going later?" I asked, Wendy showed me Dane texts.

"Sa may bridge daw! Yung parang nasa South Korea, yung ano ba yung place nayun, yung pwede kayo mag bbq? Teka, ah. Aha! Yung Nanji Hangang Park! Parang ganun yung pupuntahan niyo! Basta! Makikita mo naman mamaya eh." Wendy informed.

"What should I wear?" I asked Wendy, Wendy put her hand on her chin like she's thinking.

She snapped her fingers and stood up. She opened my closet and stared at the clothes.

"Aha!" She whispered.

She showed me my denim jumper, to be paired with my cropped top yellow-black stripes long sleeves. She even grabbed my Reebok shoes.

"Tada!" She said. Waving the outfit.

It's cute though.

"This will be perfect! I think you two will match each other's colors today. Yiee!" She stated.

Hours passed, it's currently 4:30pm, and I have to get changed.

"Bes, time na, 30 minutes na lang. Put on your skincare tapos masisimulan na natin yung do mo." Wendy stated before preparing the makeup on my vanity table.

I nodded as I started applying the moisturizer in my face.

Minutes passed until Wendy finished my look.

She braided my hair before tying it in bun. I wore my outfit and Wendy continued fixing my makeup even though it's not that heavy. Wendy curled my lashes, added some of my brows, applied cheek tint on my cheeks, and a matte tint on my lips. I was just so simple.

I looked at my wrist watch to check the time.

It's already quarter to 5!

"I better get going! See ya!" I bid before kissing Wendy on her cheeks. She waved bye.

I headed downstairs and thank goodness, my sisters are not around. I hate it when they look at me from head to toe. I ran towards the door to leave.

I'm sure Wendy will climb down the window.

I arrived at our destination exactly at 5pm!

I waved my hand in the air when I saw Dane standing, both hands on his pockets, near our table. He was on the railings.

As I was walking towards him, I wandered my eyes for a moment.

Wendy was right. It's like the Nanji Hangang Park in South Korea, where you can stargaze, watch the sunset, and all! It's placed between 2 bridges. The tables was set perfectly, it matches the atmosphere of the place, there are some umbrellas too, and some lights, like small lights, like Christmas lights hanging above. There's no roof, it was like a balcony, a big balcony. Inside, is a convenient store, where you can buy foods, cook foods, etc.

"Sorry, did I kept you waiting?" I apologized, he seems to be a little tired of waiting.

He shook his head and guided me to sit down on my chair, he pulled the chair for me. I smiled and thanked him.
