**Chapter 1-*
Emma's p.o.v-

Have you ever felt so alone and unloved that you don't want to carry on with anything you just want to lay down and let the world move past you. Well that's how I feel alone unloved even afraid at times but before we get into how I got were I am let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Emma Danniels I am 16 a very short 16 year old at that I am only 5'1. I have black hair and blue eyes oh yea and I am a werewolf.

Yes a werewolf but a unshifted and a very alone wolf at that as you know a wolf without a pack goes into a feeling of depression until accepted into a new pack or starts a new one of there own. Well this is where it started before I left my old pack to start new.

When I was little before I found out I was a wolf I was abandoned by my parents and left me to my grandparents. When I was 14 my mother had returned wanting me back so she could use me to get money from my father so my grandparents fought to keep me but did not win the battle with my alcoholic mother. So I had no choice but to move in with my mother a year later my mother had collected the money that my father gave her every week and used it to buy alcohol and hid me away from everyone. One week she yelled for me to come downstairs I walked down the stairs and she told me she sold me her 15 year old daughter to the alpha of the Red Moon Pack for his son. At the time I didn't care I just wanted away from that witch that was till I got to the new pack.

I arrived at the Red Moon Pack and they accepted me and I was joined into the pack it was great at first I felt wanted for the first time since I moved in with my mother but that lasted only for a month that's when the abuse started. I was beat everyday if I didn't follow what ever the alphas son Jake had told me to do. He would hit me or even at times his group of friends would join in. After a year of abuse I ran from the pack as a unshifted wolf I did not expect to get far but I made it from the pack and now here I am alone and searching for a new pack to accept and love me and maybe I would even find my true love my everything my mate.

I have been walking for a week and a half now and haven't found anything and haven't been found which has surprised me. I was so weak and hungry but I just keep walking to get as far as I can away from that hell hole I lived in. I was so tired from walking I found a tree and sat down by it resting when I heard a twig snap. I jumped up and turned towards the sound and immediately thought it was Jake and his group who found me. As I started to back away trying to keep a distance a red wolf with a black spot on its shoulder came walking out.

As it walked towards me I could tell it wasn't a alpha by the size but I knew it was from a pack. I kept backing away as I did I wasn't paying attention to where I wasn't walking to focused on the wolf that I tripped on a rock and fell. I was so scared I thought that I was going to be killed on the spot as I closed my eyes tight a hand touched my arm. I slowly looked up and seen a girl about my age with brown hair and green eyes looking back at me. "Hi are you ok? I didn't mean to scare you." the girl spoke "y-yea I'm fine." I stuttered still confused on what happened.

"That's good. Oh I'm Alexis I'm from the Dark Moon Pack. I hope you don't mind but I have a question." Alexis asked

"I'm Emma and go head." I smiled at her letting her know that I didn't mind

"Well are you a rogue because you don't smell like one?"

"Well I ran from my old pack because of things that happened and I have been trying to find a new one for about a week and a half now."

"You're a unpacked wolf? Well in that case since you have been searching for one I know I am going to get my ass chewed for this but do you want to come back to my pack house?"

"Oh um sure but wont I get in trouble for this?"

"Nah not as long as your with me but we will have to run there its to long of a walk."

"There maybe a little complication with that."

"Don't tell me you lost your wolf to?"

"No not that."

"Then whats wrong?"

"I haven't shifted yet."

"Oh you poor thing ok well I will shift you hop on and ill run us both there." She smiled at me

Alexis shifted into her red wolf and nudged me to get on I hoped on her back and held on for the ride hoping I wouldn't get murdered at the door.
