Beautiful and Crushed

Rydian's pov-

    I ran over to see my beautiful mate laying on the ground but not as a human but as a giant wolf she finally shifted. I smiled down at her with pride when she started to move around i backed up again and Emma jumped up quick and stumbled around for a minute. She balanced herself and looked down at her feet. She was a jet black with a white crescent shape in the middle of her chest but the best part of the whole shift was that she kept her gorgeous blue eyes.

"What?" She questioned through the mind

"You finally shifted Em" I replied back looking at her with a smile

She started to jump around and yip with excitement and joy until she finally noticed that it was me standing there and stopped. She stared at me and her head lowered, her ears flattened, and she let out a deep growl.

"Emma knock it off I know what you say was bad but it wasn't me you have to believe me. Please Alyssa is a whore and wanted to hurt you because when we were together I promised her that she would be my Luna Em I'm sor--"before I got to finish she launched herself on top of me and growled in my face.

"Rydian I know we just met and all but I am your mate and you had no fucking right to promise that spot to anybody that just hurts to know you never thought about actually having a mate." With that she jumped of me and took off through the woods pissed off and still managing to look beautiful and crushed at the same time and I stood there like the asshole I was.

I shifted into my wolf and ran into the woods after her but after 2 hours of looking Dylan found me and talked me into going back to the house with him to wait for her to come back herself. I walked back to the pack house and shifted behind a tree where I had left them from the last time I went for a run. I walked into the house and Alyssa stood there waiting probably seen us from upstairs I walked right passed her and ignored her.

"Baby wait"

"No Alyssa we are not together get that through your head we haven't been together for a long time now. You don't think about anyone else but you do you?"

"Yes I d-"

"No you don't because of the act you pulled you have costed my mates trust towards me and she has run off. She is off alone and I have no idea where she is and no way of protecting her god dammit you are a blonde but stop fucking acting like one you are smarter than you let on. You will find your mate one day but for now you will be accept and respect Emma. Now leave my sight before I do something stupid."

When I finished Alyssa ran off and i was left to deal with my own thoughts while my hurt mate was out by herself alone.

Emma's pov-

    After I left the spot where my shift happened and where I let into Rydian I ran until I was out of their radars. I ended up at a meadow it was beautiful and peaceful it was nice something I haven't had in a while. I trotted over to a patch of wild flowers and rolled on my back looking at the sky. I was enjoying my time alone when the sound of twigs breaking made me jump to my feet in alert. I looked around when my eyes landed on another wolf stepping out of the shadows of the tree line. I squinted my eyes to try to make out who it was when it dawned on me. Jake. His blonde wolf stride toward me until he was just a few feet away from me. Jake shifted and changed into a pair of shorts.

"Shift" He spoke with some harshness to his voice. I stood there and looked at him still in shock that him the guy that made my life hell and painful found me.

"I SAID SHIFT NOW" I shifted quick and covered myself

"Here" He handed me a shirt and it smelt of him and it made me sick to my stomach

"What do you want? How did you find me?"

" I heard from a source that you were on the Lucas territory and I had to come look for myself but I hadn't expected to find you out here alone and SHIFTED. I never thought that would happen nobody did it must have triggered when you found your mutt of a mate. Now that I found you I am just going to cut to the point I want you back the truth is Emma I have always wanted you and if it was going to kill me I was going to keep you forever. Now if you are smart you will come back with me and that will be the end of it."

"No I refuse I will never go back with you to that hell hole of a place you call home" I turned and went to run and was caught in the arm by him and thrown to the ground. I jumped up and quickly shifted and launched myself towards him hoping to get a good attack on him and bit straight into his arm. He screamed and pushed himself from me he shifted and the fight was on he jumped towards me and we rolled around on the ground for a while. We got lose of each other and stood up as we stood there anticipating our next move when he turned and took off. Confused I looked around looking for a reason to why he left me here still alive but nothing. Bloody and slightly wounded I started making my way back to my new home dreading the most of seeing that cheating mate of mine and what I was going to tell him when he seen me you know "oh I fought my ex" ya no and he would completely lose it when he seen the wounds but they were of no concern of mine because of the fact the would heal over night. As I took the slow walk back I felt stronger like Rydian says I am beautiful but he had one thing wrong I was not crushed I was strong.
