Lost then Loved

The Danger

Emma's p.o.v-

    After what happened the other night when Alex walked in on us she forced me to sit down and explain that I am now marked just thinking about it made my stomach do flips. The thought about having someone to love forever and that they will do the same was comforting. I smiled to myself and walked upstairs to take a shower before I started my day I was still thinking to myself and ran into the back of somebody but by the sparks running through my body I already knew it was nun other than Rydian before he could turn around I wrapped my arms around him.

"Hey there" I greeted

"Hey princess what are you doing?" He turned and kissed the top of my head making me smile even harder if that's possible.

"Going to take a shower"

"Good because you stink" he stated grabbing his nose and backing away a bit I made a hurt face and slapped his arm playfully.

"Get the hell out of here with that you needle dick dipshit"

" I'm kidding and what did you just call me?"

"It was something I heard Alex say so I decided to use it  but anyway I am going to go get in the shower."

I stood tippy toed to kiss his nose and walked to the room as I closed the bedroom door I could here Rydian yelling at Alex.

"ALEX STOP BEING A BAD INFLUENCE AROUND MY GIRLFRIEND"

"HA SHE USED IT"

I laughed at that and could picture Alex fist pumping the air I grabbed close and walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower as I waited for the shower to warm up I decide to look at my mark. I pulled back the collar of my shirt to see my mark it was a three sided swirl it was different but I was in love with it. It was his and that's all that mattered I got done in the shower and got out I walked back out into the hallway and went down the stairs to see a boy with ask blonde hair and brown eyes looking around and then the sent hit me. Rouge. I growled as I hit the bottom of the stairs. The boy turned and looked with horror in his eyes and I knew the reason my teeth were descended out and my eyes had blackened. The boy looked about are age maybe 6 foot but still dangerous.

"Who are you and why are you in my territory?" I questioned backing him up against the wall he was getting ready to say something when Alex came running through the room.

"Emma no it's ok that's what I was trying to tell you I found my mate and this is him his names Tom he's being let into the pack."

I looked at Alex and turned back to him still with my teeth out and eyes black.

"Fine but if you pull any of your rouge shit you will be dead before you are able to blink got it."

With those words of encouragement he shock his head and ran to Alex I watched them turn and walk up stairs to Alex's room I was still on edge and jogged out to forest edge feeling my wolf needing to be let out. I shifted and started running through the woods god it felt good to let go I ran and ran until I couldn't anymore trying to catch my breath when Rydian's white wolf appeared he came up and rested his head on mine.

"Come on I want to show you something" He motioned for me to follow and I did just that.

We went awhile until we made it to the top of a cliff over looking a valley of purple flowers with a small pond it was beautiful. I went to the edge of the cliff and lied down letting my two front paws hang over.

"It's beautiful" I tell him

"Ya I found it here when I was a kid before I shifted it helped me to think clearly when I needed to"

I shook my head and looked back at the seen in front of me it was so peaceful he was right it did make your mind clear.

"You know Emma Tom isn't a bad guy I know you were on edge with him being a rouge but your going to have to control your wolf better you can't lash out like I will help you."

Turning my  head back around I felt my eyes getting heavy and Rydian seemed to notice he nudged me to get up and we started walking back to the pack house. We finally got back and we shifted he quickly put on shorts and through me his shirt I quickly put it on and it went down to my knees. He kissed my check and brought his hand down to mind walking me back to the house. We made our way upstairs and I lieed down on the bed darkness taking over as soon as my head hit the pillow. Later that night I woke up without Rydian in bed.

"Weird"

I walked down to the kitchen to find something to eat and walked through something warm and sticky I flipped the light switch and it was blood I became frantic and looked around for the sorce that's when my eyes landed on a white wolf with blood leaking from its limp body. My heart sank and I ran for the body.

"Rydian no no come on wake up thins cant be happening please" I grabbed his fur and burried my face in it tears streaking my face

"Oh believe it princess it's happening lover boy can't save you now" I jumped up at the voice and seen Jake standing there. I turned to run only to be caught by the hair.

" No please stop"

"I told you I would get you bitch now your going to get what you deserve for running from me."

I cried harder and then I felt something cold on my neck. A knife. I tried to scream but couldn't. He dragged  the knife across my neck and my body fell to the floor and the last thing I saw was my mates cold body.

Sweat dripped down my face as I jolted up screaming Rydian jumped up with a worried look he grabbed me quick.

"Em what happened?"

"You were...... Dead..And..." I continued to sob uncontrollably

"Shh its ok it was just a dream I'm ok everyone's ok go back to sleep I got you." He lied me back down and wrapped me in his arms it wasn't long before his soft snores were heard and I slowly fell back asleep.
