Chapter 2

Emma's p.o.v-

As we came close to the all the wolves in the pack looked at me and some even snarled to say I was terrified was a understatement. Alexis stopped at the edge of the woods and nudged me to get off I obeyed her and slid off. She quickly shift and motioned for me to follow her we walked towards the front entrance and I was knocked right on my ass by somebody. I looked up to see who it was and seen a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes glaring at me to make sure I didn't move an inch.

"What the hell Alex who the fuck is this?" The girl said with a stern voice but at the same time not laced with power so I knew she wasn't of high authority.

"This is Emma I found her in the woods I'm taking her to the alpha." Alexis stood her ground

"You better hope you don't get your ass torn apart for this." The girl spit as she gave me one more glance before walking away.

Alex helped me off the ground and apologized for the blondes behavior I brushed it off understanding she is only trying to help her pack stay safe. We walked through the big doors into the pack house I followed right behind Alex but at the same time admiring the house I've never seen a house this big then again my last pack house was small. We walked up the big stair case to the alphas office Alex knocked on the door and we waited patiently. My nerves were on edge and my palms were getting sweaty the door came open and there stood a tall man with kind blue eyes and grayish hair I am guessing he is in his mid 40's.

He nodded towards Alex and she did so in return to show respect and turned to me with kindness in his eyes.

"Hello my dear may I ask your name?" he smiled

"Hello sir my name is Emma."

"I am Alpha Stephen Lucas why don't you and Alexis step into my office."

we walked in and sat in the two chairs in front of Alpha Stephen's desk. He walked to his chair and turned towards us.

"Hello Alexis may you be so kind to explain to me why you brought Emma to me?"

"Hello Sir. I was out for a run this morning and came across Emma sitting against a tree I walked up to her and asked what she was doing out in the woods alone She told me she left her old pack in search for a new so I brought her here in hope we would be able to maybe accept her into ours?" Alex finished her story with a smile

" Well I don't usually do this but I can't have this beautiful young lady unpacked so there will be a ceremony to announce it I am hoping that all 3 of the boys will be there to help with it to but we will see. Alex show Emma to her room and show her around." He smiled towards us and dismissed us.

Alex and I walked down to my new room and the whole time I had a goofy grin on my face. Alex opened a door and flipped the light on she walked all the way in and I followed. The room was a light blue color with a white fluffy queen sized bed in it I walked over to the bed and flopped down on it and squealed like a little girl with all the excitement going through me I forgot Alex was standing behind me. I jumped up and ran over to Alex giving her a big hug after I pulled away I was tearing up Alex went to walk out of the room and before she left I grabbed her arm.

"Alex"

"Yea"

"Thank you"

With that she smiled and walked out the door I walked straight into my OWN bathroom and turned the shower on and got in letting the hot water relax my body. I finished up and got out putting my shirt back on. I walked over to the bed and jumped into it letting the softness consume me into darkness.

The next morning I woke up to somebody jumping on me I peaked out from under the blankets and it was Alex.

"GET UP WE ARE GOING TO GET YOU SOME NEW CLOTHES TODAY!" She shouted and pulled me out of bed she gave me a pair of shorts and a shirt to wear and pulled me towards the door.

We were getting ready to walk out the door when someone walked in and I was speechless on who it was and what was about to happen.
