Under a cozy corner of the starry sky, atop a lavish apartment complex, a lonely man named Astrophel stood mesmerized by the awe-inspiring meteor shower. It was a momentous night for him, for it marked the birthday of a person who was very dear to him. As the shooting stars streaked across the dark canvas of the night sky, Astrophel could not help but feel the weight of his absence. The starry spectacle seemed to be a tribute to the bond they once shared and a reminder of the void that now lingered in his heart.

"Wow, what a special day!" Astrophel silently exclaimed. That was right because today was the birthday of someone important to him and the day when a meteor shower sparkled in the night sky. That person even organized a birthday music night with close friends, and an after-party on the rooftop to watch the meteor shower together was exceptionally ideal.

"It must be so much fun. If only I could go there too. I wonder if I have the chance..." Astrophel told himself that he must try to forget everything about Antares and move on. He believed that if their feelings were the same, he would be on the guest list. Nonetheless, even if that were the case, things had already happened, so how could he get there?

He thought about it repeatedly, then decided not to pay attention to it anymore and went to the rooftop to watch the meteor shower to relieve boredom. While watching the shooting stars, Astrophel felt nauseous. Yes, he felt confused because he missed Antares. This was supposed to be an unforgettable date under the stars after his birthday party and dedicated moments full of joy and happiness with his friends. Last year's party was so fun... It was the year Antares turned 20 years old. Oh, the year in which he turned 20 years old had so many ups and downs, from positive to negative, and the cause was mostly Astrophel. Then what was the outcome? The two of them had separated, and many chaotic things happened. New people came and went, and day by day, Astrophel found himself more and more distant from Antares, but he knew it was what he deserved. He could do nothing else after what he had done. He even knew that Antares often dropped "hints" about his feelings for him, from his online posts to photos. Everything had something to do with Astrophel, leaving their friends hit the nail on the head several times. Astrophel did not know whether they read Antares's mind or not. But they read his mind for sure! And he hoped Antares felt the same way.

"It's also because of me that he had such a crisis in her 20s. I came and brought a burden that overwhelmed his joy. But Antares was never angry with me, except when I devoured my body to have a high fever because of work. Regardless, after that, he was not angry. Antares was worried about me, not afraid of getting sick, and then wholeheartedly entertained me with jokes..." Astrophel's heart ached when he thought about this. He used to assume that the mysterious silhouette on Antares's birthday invitations was him and that Antares did it on purpose to lure him over. Astrophel knew it! But he did not dare to come, nor did he dare to expect that the person Antares invited was his old best bro, whom he had befriended before meeting Antares.

After reading numerous posts and looking at images from their buddies, Astrophel also felt nostalgic about the memories with his old friend. He sighed and hoped that this guy could look after Antares better than he used to. But the most heartbreaking thing inside him was still there when he read their friends' comments. They also guessed that the person wearing corresponding shirts with Antares was him. Astrophel also hoped so, but what could he do now?

"Well, I can't help it..." He assumed.

Leaving his thoughts there, Astrophel quickly climbed to the rooftop, avoiding the eyes of others, sneaking into a hidden corner to watch the meteor shower. Tonight, he came up here early to get a spot. Still, he was probably overthinking because it was too hot up here. Most people would rather sit in their rooms with air conditioners and watch the stars on television.

"Who's as crazy as me? Yes, I'm indeed crazy. That's why I came here to look at the shooting stars alone, but my heart is all about the two of us, and it seems heavy. Oh! I miss you again, Antares..."

Astrophel dropped that thought into the wind and clouds under the starry sky, watching the white streaks that opened the celestial rain. Even though he believed in the feelings between them, he could not be sure if he was in Antares's heart right now. Astrophel did not know, but he hoped so. While thinking, he felt pretty shivery but then strangely warm: Antares's image appeared more clearly inside his head. He wondered if it could be telepathy, which could happen when two people thought about each other simultaneously. He smiled bitterly, closed his eyes, and was back to reality: "It's impossible. I only hope he will find someone who loves him enough. This one will love him a lot and in the right way, unlike certain bad people like me..."
