---------------------------
But Astrophel did not know that Antares was also thinking about him and his last birthday. Antares also thought about plans for his upcoming birthday party. Moreover, he also missed Astrophel, who might be very surprised when the idea that suddenly flashed in his mind came true: The project "My 20s", which marked the most memorable year of his life and also was why he and Astrophel's former friend had a chance to collaborate, had been successful. In that year, Antares experienced all sorts of emotions. From the moment he knew Astrophel, there was joy, sadness, and happiness, but then there was only hurt and loss. The isolation from those who knew nothing could not hurt Antares as much as Astrophel's indifference. Antares was in a lot of pain, but he just had to keep it in his heart because he could not bear to hurt Astrophel. How could he blame him? Sighing, Antares raised his eyes to the sky to look at the atmosphere full of shooting stars, letting his worries drift away into the night breeze. Suddenly, he felt strangely peaceful.
Perhaps that peace came from that guy, who was also thinking about Antares, but Antares did not dare to confirm anything. He thought, "How can it be possible?" However, he did not know it was real! Astrophel was missing him!
🌠
Under the other corner of the sky, Astrophel also felt something peculiar. He suddenly sneezed a little while a tear slipped out of his canthi, rolling slowly down his bun cheek, which was now slightly thinner due to his habit of working overnight. Astrophel thought his works could make him forget that he needed the warmth from Antares.
"God! I miss you again and feel pity for myself! But I can not be sad anymore! Antares must be having a flawless life with new friends after being up the creek without a paddle. I have harmed him enough. I can't let these feelings torment me and get him involved anymore!" He thought to himself, took a deep breath, and then focused on watching the shooting stars, releasing his soul into the sparkling and periodic peaceful night sky in this bustling city.
Yes, Astrophel had moved on, but that did not mean he had stopped loving Antares. He just decided that his feelings for Antares must become a secret at the bottom of his heart.
🌠
Even though they were in two different places, the thoughts of the two lovers seemed to be read by the stars. Furthermore, the meteor shower in the night sky seemed to connect their hearts by becoming more kaleidoscopic.
There was a young guy celebrating his birthday under a meteor shower after many ups and downs. He wished to see the person he loved again with a heart that was dying of longing.
There was a slightly older guy who retained a bit of his childish soul hidden behind a shell of maturity after many life incidents. He buried his true feelings and hurts in the depths of his memories.
Perhaps neither of them really knew what the other thinks, nor did anyone know whether the shooting star brought miracles and made wishes come true.
It was unclear what the truth was. The only thing that could be certain was that on a rooftop that night, a guy was so busy watching shooting stars that he completely forgot about the little cat he raised who was afraid of the boisterous streaks of light in the sky. He thought his cat would mistake the meteor shower for menacing bolts and freak out. Thus, he immediately rushed back to his apartment, only to see that black shadow sitting in front of the window and gazing at the sky. It left only one thought in his mind: "His cat is the starry-eyed observer!"
