Prince Samuel Alexander was soundly sleeping in his huge feather bed. He slowly opens his eyes and starts to stretch his arms and legs. The sunbeams streaming through the curtains, birds singing in the distance, it was a beautiful day and Samuel was ready for it. He got out of bed and put on a loose white blouse with a black tuxedo, with matching pants. He was styling his hair when two maids came. "Good morning prince Samuel." They both said perfectly in sync. "Good morning maids." The prince answered. The maids started to make his bed and put a golden tray down on his desk. On the tray was found a plate with waffles and honey over it. There was fruits, such as raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and cut bananas. There was bacon as well. All of it accompanied by a glass of freshly pressed orange juice. "Thank you" Samuel said. "Of course my prince" the maids replied as they bowed to him. They silently got out of the room and Samuel sat down at his desk and ate the ravishing breakfast and read a book.

A few moments later, Samuel finished eating and was called to see the king, his father.

Samuel Alexander was quite a handsome young man. He had brown messy hair with sky-like blue eyes. He was tall and in-shape. He had a sharp jaw-line and a kind smile. He loved to play rugby with his friends and to read and cultivate himself on his free time. His best friend was his dog, Arwen, a beautiful german shepherd. He had a curious mind and a kind soul. He was born to be king and everybody knew it. Samuel was generous and kind to strangers. When he was a little boy, he loved to walk around in the kingdom and help the ones in need. The prince was loved and admired by the people.

Samuel walked down the majestic stairs to arrive at the throne room, where his father would spend half of his day. He walked in the sumptuous room and went infront of the throne.

-You wanted to see me, father?
-Yes, my son, how did you sleep.
-Very well Father, thank you.
-Good. Well the only reason I brought you here this morning was too inform you that, since you are soon to be king, you need a queen.
-I know, but I have not found one yet.
-But i did.
-Father, respectfully, I would like to find my own queen. Someone that I actually love.
-Well that's too late I'm afraid, the wedding is already planned!
-I beg your pardon?
-You, my son, will marry princess Amelia Joy, the wedding will be in three weeks. Don't worry my son, I made sure to pick a pretty one, the king says with a wink.
-Father, I refuse to marry somebody that I have never met! This is outrageous! When will I get to meet her?
-The day of the wedding.
-What?!
-Calm down Samuel. I know very well the parents of princess Amelia. She is a lovely young lady, her kingdom loves her!
-Father...
-Samuel, that's enough. You shall marry Amelia and become king. You may exit the throne room.

The prince stormed out of the throne room and walked the stairs to the library. It relaxed him. Why can't my father just let me find my own queen! I'm sure this Amelia is lovely but she is not the one I love! How can I spend the rest of my life with a stranger?
