Did I just get adopted by One Direction?!

Chap 2

I woke up in my small uncomfortable bed. I guess it all was a dream. I walked into the bathroom. It was very small and consisted of a toilet and sink, the showers were downstairs. I grabbed my brush and ran it through my untamable curls. That took about 5 minutes, then I walked to my small closet. I grabbed my South Park t shirt an slipped it on. I picked out my Silver jeans (brand not color) and pulled them on and walked down o breakfast. I started eating and thought, now Melodie why would they want to adopt you? They could get a beautiful girl that will make them happy other than you. I stabbed at my food and then grabbed my plate, gave the leftovers to the other kids and washed my dishes. As I walked out of the room I heard a familiar Doncaster accent. I slowly backed into the kitchen so maybe he wouldn't see me. "Oh there she is!!! Cone over here Melodie!!" Sasha yelled so everyone knew that I heard her. I slowly walked over to them. He had a pen and papers in his hands. No no no!!! They can't adopt you!! You're not good enough for them!...Run. I took off up the stairwell and ran into my room and hid in my closet. I really don't know why but I started crying.

Louis POV

Me and Sasha were talking Bout Melodie and going through everything I would need to do to finally take that precious angel home. All of the boys have seen her except for Liam... I don't even think Liam knows we're adopting hmmm.... Well I guess we'll see. I can't wait to bring her home and show her her new life. I saw her slowly walk out of the kitchen with tears falling off of her cheeks. It was heartbreaking. It was like a piece of my soul just died seeing her like that. She saw me and slowly backed up into the kitchen but Sasha saw her. "Oh there she is!! Come over here Melodie!" She yelled so I know that she heard her. She sluggishly walked over to us an I could hear her say "No no no!! They can't adopt you! Your not good enough for them!" There goes another piece. She stood there for a second not looking at us then bolted up the stairs crying. "I'll be right back." I said then walked off to go find her.

I walked into her room and she wasn't there. I looked in the bathroom then I heard crying coming from the closet. I opened the door and she was buried in clothes and clinging on to a plush owl for dead life. I walked over to her and put my arms around her rubbing small circles in her back. After about 5 minutes she calmed down and I think she went to sleep I carried her to her bed and then set her down tucking her in, then I kissed her forehead as Sasha walked in. "I see you found her." She said "Come on lets go get the rest of the paperwork done." She walked me back to the front desk and we filled out the papers. But when I walked out of Melodie's room I could have sworn I heard her say "Not good enough. Not ski by enough. Don't deserve it." It was still heart wrenching but I waved it aside and filled out the paperwork.

Melodie's POV

I heard shuffling around the room and the. My closet door opened. I clung onto Hoot (my owl) and cried even harder. I knew it was Louis in here, but I didn't care, I needed to cry, I cried for my dad whom I would never see again and for my mom and sister I will never see them again either. He came over toe and wrapped his arms around me and rubbed small circles in my back for about five minutes until I managed to calm down. I pretended to sleek so maybe he would go away but he just lifted me up and tucked me I then kissed my forehead. After that I couldn't hear anything, I must have fallen asleep.

When I woke up I wasn't in my bed. If fact, I was in a car!!! I shot up and looked around, at first I was confused but then I realized that I was in Louis car. "Good morning love." Louis said looking at me trough the rearview mirror. I frantically felt around for my glasses. I felt them on the floor and snatched them up then put them on. I started to feel a little bit relaxed but then I realized Hoot wasn't here. "Hoot?!" I screamed. "Where are you buddy?!" I cried out. I was looking around for Hoot when suddenly I had a flashback...

FLASHBACK

I jumped out of my mom's car and ran to my dad. "Daddy!!!" I screeched "Mell Bell!!" He cried and picked me up and swung me around in circles. When he saw my sister they did the same thing. Then he said to both of us "Hey you guys want presents?" "YEEEEEEESSS!!!!!" we bellowed. "Alright but you have to say the magic words" he said as he just stood there with his eyes closed and his arms crossed turned away with a pouty face on. "Daddy is the most wonderful daddy in the whole wide world!! Plus he makes the bestest chili!!!" We cried in unison. He walked over to his big green pickup with us right on his heels and pulled out a big bag. He pulled a medium bag out of the large one and handed it to Meredith. Then he handed me a smaller bag and we opened the presents. Meredith got a new Barbie doll with a skirt that turns into a mermaid tail!!! I opened my bag and pulled out a white plush owl. It had big blue eyes and the bottom of its wings were light blue but the top and tail were some sort of strange print. I hugged it and said "I love it daddy hank you so so soooo much!!!" "What are you going to name it?" He asked "Hoot." I said without hesitating. He leaned in and held my hands saying "As long as you have Hoot with you I will always be right there with you." He said kissing Hoot's beak. (Pic of Hoot on side ;p)

END OF FLASHBACK

When I came to I was in Louis arms on the boys' caught in guessing. He was shushing me an rocking me back and forth whispering nice things into my ears. I just realized that I was crying or well bawling. I looked up and I saw Harry, Niall, and Zayn across the room with worry covering their faces. I looked back down blushing and covering my face. "Aw love don't cover your beautiful face. Let us see those pretty eyes!" Harry said as Louis pried my hands off of my face. "There they are!!!" Harry screeched. I scooted away from Louis and his expression was PRICELESS. I frantically started looking around for Hoot again crying even harder mumbling things to myself. "WHERE'S HOOT?!" I screamed making all o them flinch. "Who?" Asked Zayn. "Hoot!! My owl!!" I said matter of factly. "Oh yeah Louis said as he tossed me Hoot. I lunged forward and barely caught him. "Don't throw him!!!" I screeched hugging him tight and pecking him on the beak. "Don't you ever touch him again!!" I growled and stormed off up the stairs and into the first room I could find.

Sooo...... How did you like that chapter? I thought it was ok but I know I could do better :( And sorry I didn't update as soon as I said I would I had a concert I. Friday and we didn't get back until 4 in the morning on Saturday and Sunday I had church and home work an yesterday I was loaded up with a crap load of homework so I am sooo sorry for anyone that was waiting for my update :) sweet dreams!!!
