Chapter 15

Harry's POV 

 I stormed out of her room and walked to mine. She's 13! She shouldn't be using that kind of language! But, I wonder why she hates school, and what happened to make her hate it with such a passion? I softened up a little bit and told the boys we were going to take her shopping for school things.  I heard Lou yell "SOUNDS GREAT." from downstairs I told him to tell Melodie to start getting ready. I put on a gray v-neck shirt with some simple jeans on, I didn't feel llike impressing anybody today. I took a shower and combed through my hair styling it a tad before heading downstairs. Lou was wearing his red pants with a striped shirt and toms as usual. "Dude , why are you dessed all 'I don't care' " He asked  "Because, I'm not trying to  impress anybody." I chuckled He shrugged and munched on an apple. Zayn came downstairs next followed by Liam and finally Niall.

"Where's Melodie?" Liam asked looking around "I guess she's still getting ready" I said "MELODIIIIEEEEEEEE, PLEASE HURRRRYYYYY" Louis called up the staircase and we heard a quiet  "OK." as a response

A few minutes later Melodie strolled down the stairs with a Pierce The Veil t-shirt on, black skinny jeans,and black converse on. She had a pale complexion and her complexion plus the black eyeliner just made her blue eyes pop. She wore so many bracelets that I couldn't count them. Louis gaped, "Just why are you wearing makeup." he said trying to act fatherly. "Because... I found it in my bathroom." she said looking at him with slightly scared eyes. He glared at me and I gave a shrug. "I thought that she might want it." I said nervously "Oh well, come on then." He said walking out the door and to the car. Liam opened the door for Melodie and she hesitated but got in. Lou was driving Niall was in the passenger's seat and Liam, Zayn, Melodie and I were stuck in the back. Zayn was next to one door and I was next to the other leaving Melodie and Liam in the middle. She tried to stay as far away from him as she could but it was no use. Liam looked down at her and smiled. "We're gonna have lots of fun today. You excited?" he asked "Y-yea, sure." she said loosening up a bit. He tried and failed at making small talk, it was so awkaward. Melodie was texting somebody on her new phone. "Who ya texting?" Louis said looking in the rear-view mirror. "Chase" she said and I saw Niall tense when she said his name. "Why?" he asked "Because he's my only friend..." she said and that made me so sad. Surely she must have more friends than him. "So if you got more friends you wouldn't talk to him?" Niall piped up "Well not-" Melodie started but was cut off by Louis saying "WE'RE HEEERREE" I looked out the window and sure enough, fangirls were everywhere. Paparazi was too but our gaurds kept them back. I got out of the car and heard girls scream "HARRY I LOVE YOUUU" and "LOUIS HIII. OH NIALL HELLOOO" "ZAYN OVER HERE" "WILL YOU SIGN THIS?!" We just kept walking into the mall.

Melodie's POV 

We got out of the car, I heard girls screaming at the boys. As we were walking to the entrance I heard girls say "Ugh. You slut. Why would they choose you?" and "You don't deserve them. They want skinny pretty girls not emo, fat, cutters like you." girls spat at me but nobody saw I flipped one of them off and to my luck Zayn saw me. "Oh god." I mumbled once we got inside Zayn yelled "Why did you flip her off?!"

The boys turned around and looked at me "You flipped off one of our fans?"  asked Louis his face serious. "Yes. I did." I said bravely. "WHY?!" Louis yelled at me. "WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING THEM?!" I screamed back he was about to make me snap. "BECAUSE THAT WAS WRONG AND THEY SUPPORT US" He screamed in my face.

Luckily the mall was cleared out. "WELL MAYBE YOU SHOULD OPEN YOUR DAMN EARS AND LISTEN MORE CLOSELY TO WHAT THEY SAY AND PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY'RE DOING." I screamed even louder. "WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU?!" He yelled his face was read. "WHY. DON'T. YOU. GO. ASK. THEM" I screamed and ran away from them.

I knew where Chase worked and I ran into Hot Topic and behind the counter to Chase. "Hey, what's wrong?" He asked. I was crying and my eyeliner was smearing and getting all over his shirt. "They don't understand. They couldn't even here what their fans were saying to me." I cried. He hugged me and brought me to the back to help clean up. "Why did you leave?" I asked and he stopped. "What?" he asked looking at me. "Why did you leave after you saw my cuts." I said looking down "Because, I knew that if I would have been there to help you, those wouldn't be there." he said his voice cracking. I looked up "Don't think that." I said  "It's true though. I knew where you were, I didn't come and save you. I just let you rot in that hell hole and do those things to yourself." He said tears welling up in his eyes. "I waited for you to come for a year but I didn't expect you to. I forgive you. I probably wouldn't have the courage to do it either." I said hugging him "You shouldn't forgive me." He said hanging his head "But I do." I said and he looked into my eyes then kissed me right as the guys ran in. "WHAT THE FU-"
