Jedidah turned just to see the handsome young fellowship leader walking toward them. She quickly fixed herself; as if she was looking bad, and shot the best smile she had.
"Hey guys, hope you enjoyed the sermon?" Joshua said with his hands akimbo.
Jennifer gave a reassuring smile "You don't even have to ask, your sermons are the best.
Joshua smiled happily.
Joshua turned to his left,
" Jedidah, can I have a word with you?"
Jedidah's heart drummed.
"Of... Of course!"
Jacob pulled her to a sit and they both sat.
"Pastor's daughter right? I just need your number so I can update you on things, We normally go on evangelism once a month, we gather every evening to pray, are you ready to Journey with us?"
Jedidah hesitated to speak, she just came today on her father's insistence, but the youths were welcoming so.....
"I would be glad to join you guys, as you said Pastor's daughter so... Why not?"
"Okay, Put in your number on my phone".
Joshua handed over his Samsung Galaxy and Jedidah put in her number, with drumming sounds coming from her heart.
" Okay, so welcome to the group, we are youths representing Christ, make sure to join us in representing Christ everywhere you find yourself". Joshua stared at her.
"Thank you". Jedidah muttered.
"It seems you're the shy type, lady of few words?".
Jedidah smiled.
" It's fine, I understand, it's alright to be an introvert, So you can hear back to everyone, I have to go check things out".
Jedidah nodded, and Joshua stood up and left.
"How could he detect I'm an introvert after only one conversation?"
Ugh!
Jedidah stood up and went to Jennifer.
"You're back! He was telling the formalities of this great youth group, right?".
Jedidah chuckled.
" So Jedidah, can I have your number?".
Jedidah smiled, "Sure".
" So which school do you attend?" Jennifer asked.
"I attend Kingdom Academy".
" Oh, Rich people school".
Jedidah responded, "What do you mean by that?"
Jennifer laughed "Calm down it was just a harmless joke!"
Jedidah faked a smile.
Jennifer tried to change the topic, "You didn't use to attend youth fellowship, why?"
