"Siwang you must find yourself a wife! As the King of the Demon realm you have to continue the family blood line!" Father says.
"But Father-!" I try to say.
"NO BUTS! You are going to go to the Human realm and find yourself a wife. And don't come back until you have a good queen!" He yells.
Although I am the Demon king, I can NOT disobey my father. So I painfully drag myself up the stairs to the summoning platform. We usually use the platform to travel between places in the kingdom, or use it as a trading port between realms. But in special cases the Royal family can use it to find themselves a partner, if they can't find a partner in the Demon realm, and as tradition stands we can only find those partners from the Human realm.
As I get to the platform, I summon a portal to the Human realm and walk through.
The other side was beautiful, I believe it is a flower garden. I look around until I spot a girl looking about 19-20 feeding the geese in the small lake in the middle of the gardens.
I have a thought 'I should follow her around to see if she's good enough' I decide. I walk up to the girl and sit down on the bench next to her.
"Hello" I say greeting her.
"Oh! Hi! Did you also come here to feed the geese?" She questions.
"Nah, I just came here to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful nature of the gardens."
"Okie! But anyway, what's your name?" She asks.
"Oh! The names Siwang, Siwang Axstria. And yours?" I reply.
"My name is Charlie Oldham!"
"Nice name!" I say with a smile "Oh wait- I forgot to ask you, what are your pronouns? I don't want to accidentally mis-gender you."
"Well most people mistake me as a girl at first, but my pronouns are he/him!" He said with a smile filled with only sweetness. My eyes open wider with shock as my heart flutters at the small act.
'Is he the one?' I ask myself.
