After Charlie had gone home, I was left sitting on the bench watching the sun slowly hide behind a hill.

'Do I......... Like him?' I think as my face starts heating up. My face had a its own flower garden of blush, that quickly spread across my face.

I take deep breaths, calming my body down as I look the way Charlie had left, still wondering if he is the one for me and our kingdom.

I get off the bench, and tried to see the direction Charlie had gone. Once found, I sprinted down the road, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, silently watching Charlie as he made his way to his home.

I continued to watch him through his window as he made his dinner in his kitchen. As a person who is horrible when it comes to cooking, this is like watching that one cooking show..... Kitchen chef? No. Count chef? Oh! Master chef! That show!

As I stalked him, once he finished eating, I moved from window to window watching him. He had brushed his teeth before going to his bedroom, to change into his night clothes.

Of course I was watching him during this with a bright red blush across my face, but his body was so beautiful he was short with coat made of chub all around his body, making him look so squishy. I didn't notice this earlier due to the coat he was wearing in the flower garden. His skin was a soft olive skin tone that would glisten in the overhead light complementing his soft blond-brown mixed hair. His hair swayed in the draft coming in from the window, with his hair slightly grazing his shoulders.

When done changing, he had on a blue dinosaur onesie matching his blue eyes. Now when I say it was too cute, I mean it, because this man was too cute for this world.

As I watched him sleep, I keep on thinking of how our life could be when I bring him back to my realm. On how I could keep him for myself in a place where no one else can have him. I crawl through the window, still thinking of all the things we could do back home, and began to stroke Charlie's hair.

Then a memory hit me.

"I-I remember this"

□~Flashback~□
It was back when I was a child, a toddler to exact, and I was sitting on my mother's lap. She was reading to me a book about some legends from our realm and the Human realm.

"Mama?" A younger me had asked.

" Yes Dear?" She looked down into my eyes while baring a smile filled with kindness.

"Can you read to me the story of the Golden men? Pleaseeeee?" I had said that with the biggest puppy eyes you've  ever  seen.

"Okay dear," She answered, flipping the pages to the 5th Chapter, "As the story goes. Once there was a small town in the Human realm named Auriu, the village was strict with rules and all women that had come inside the wall were kicked out due to the strict rules. They were known for helping the surrounding villages while having a no women policy, and over time there were less and less people in the village. As more men from the village left to find a wife." She said turning the page.

"Until one day a plague had broke out in the outside villages, killing many people, and when the outside villages had asked for help from other villages, they were rejected. But in the village of Auriu, there was a man had who stayed there with his husband, he had a talent for medicine and had given every village that had the plague a herbal medicine, eradicating the plague from the surrounding villages."

"Then what happened?" I asked.

"Well... The Gods that were watching had been amazing by the man's skills and went to go meet him. They told the man, 'As a gift for saving the other villages from the plague, we will grant you one wish. Please use it wisely.' the man thought for a while before making a decision, 'I wish that all men in my village can have children with their husbands.' With those few words, the Gods granted his wish, blessing the men in his village with the ability to have children with their husbands. Many years go by and the men have had children with their husbands and their children had children with their husbands. And generation after generation, more men repopulated Auriu, with all the children being male. Earning the people inside the vilage the title The Golden Men. The End."

I ask her with my mind filled with questions, "Where is the village now? And Why are they called The Golden Men?"

She told me calmly "No one knows where the village and its people are now, but they do know why they are called The Golden men." She paused for a moment before continuing, " Well you know how the village was called Auriu?"

"Uh huh" I nodded

"Well in one of the Human languages called Romanian- I think, the word Auriu means Golden, so the people inside the village are The Golden men. But enough stories, it's time to go to bed Siwang"

○~Flashback has ended~○
I feel tears roll down my cheeks as I remember this moment.
