Claire POV
To say that i am still sad about Y/n death is something. The day he asked me out i was shocked. Whenever i was with him there was this feeling inside of me. I didn't know what it was. But when he ran away from me, i felt my heart broke into million of pieces. When i was about to go to sleep i now knew that this was love. I was in love so when the next day came, i went to a bouquet shop first and bought roses for him.
When i saw the helicopter that had the boys inside, i was looking for him because i didn't see him come out. I saw Steve and asked him where he was. He told me that he died. I didn't want to believe him but deep down i know that he is telling the truth. The funeral came and they told us that they couldn't find the body. I could never forgive myself. I wish I could go back and tell him that i love him. But it is to late.
As i was deep into my thoughts i heard my phone go off for a second. It was a text from Steve saying that he wants me to be at his house because he want to talk to me in private. He then said be there at 12:15 midnight. So i answered and told him that I'll be on my way.
20 minutes later and i have arrived at his house. I saw Steve walking towards his house. As i got out the car I told him...
Claire: Steve wait up.
Steve turned around and was surprised to see me.
Steve: Claire what are you doing here?
Claire: Well you send me a message saying that we need to talk.
I then showed him the message so that he will know that i am not lying.
Steve: I didn't send you a message.
Claire: You didn't?
Steve was about to answer when we hear music coming from his house. Steve told me to be quiet and we walked silently towards his home. He opened the door softly and went inside. He grabbed his shield, that was leaning in the hallway, just in case if something bad happens. We snuck and went to the source of the sound which was in the living room. Steve peeked into his living room and saw Nick laying down on the sofa with the music player turned on.
Steve: i don't remember giving you a key.
Nick Fury: *groans* you really think i need one? My wife, she kicked me out.
Claire: I didn't know you were married.
Nick Fury: There's a lot of things you don't know about me.
Steve: We know. Nick. That's the problem.
He turned on the lights and we saw that he was bloodied and bruised. Nick turned it off leaving us shocked. Fury held a device and flipped it over to show us the text that were on the screen.
EARS EVERYWHERE
"I am sorry to have to do this, but i had no place else to crash." He said normally. Then he showed us the next message on his screen.
SHIELD COMPROMISE
I went with the act. "So, who else knows about your wife Nick?"
Nick got up from the couch and showed us the screen.
