Chapter 6: pool time with cutie

Daniel's POV:

I woke up with a slight headache from the drinking last night, me and Jake got to know each other pretty well and I’m starting to like him, like crush like him.

He’s cute, funny, and we have a
lot in common. I looked beside me and noticed that my younger brothers were still asleep, I got out of bed and went to take a shower. After that I brushed my teeth, blow dried my hair, then
began to get ready.

After I finished all that, I came out of the bathroom and I saw my mom waking up my brothers and telling them to go get ready, but they didn’t budge, their eyes were still closed and making no effort in moving.

I however wanted to get out of the room as I love to get some outdoor time and explore new places, so this was my chance. “Daniel Honey, are you coming with me, or no?” Mom asked me “Uh sorry mom, but I’m doing my own exploring. So, you’re on your own
for this.” I said smiling at me before grabbing my phone and leaving the room.

I walked around till I ended up in the lobby, I looked at the amazing details in all the designs I was surrounded by, I saw a lot of people there, including Jake, his dad, and Ginger. I slowly
made my way over to them and when Jake turned in my direction, I saw his expression
brighten.

“Hey Jake” “Hey Daniel!” Though it was his dad’s voice and not Jakes. I then turned my attention towards him and Ginger while smiling at them politely. “Morning Mr. Warnick, Ginger, how are you?” I asked them with a smile.

“Very well thanks, Jake here couldn’t stop talking about you last night” said laughing at his son who stood there embarrassed but also flustered. “Dad, stop please” he said with his face turning a shade of pink, I just laughed at his cuteness and squeezed both his cheeks with my right hand between my thumb and index finger.

“Aww I find it cute that you talk about me that much” I said teasing him, he shook his head as to try and get my hand off his face. Which he failed but I took my hand off his face anyways, he pouted and looked in my eyes.

“So, do you want to hang out?” He asked “Hmm I think I would” I said while giving him a smirk, he rolled his eyes with a smile before turning to his dad and Ginger. “I’m gonna go with Daniel, I’ll be back later” He said while taking my hand and dragging me away from the adults.

“Take all the time you need you two!” He groaned with embarrassment while I laughed and followed Jake outside where the warm air hits our faces.

I looked down at him to see him already looking at me, so I smirked and winked at him making him blush and face forward.

“So, where we going?” I asked still aware as his small hands was still tangled with mine, “Well I was thinking we could go to the beach” “Yeah that’s a great idea, how about we go get changed first and get what we need then we meet back here in like 5?”

“Yeah that’s a great idea, I guess
I’ll see you later..” “See you later cutie” With that we both parted ways and went to our rooms to get changed for the beach.

Time skip:

Me and Jake were now at the pool finding a place to put our things, though there were a lot of girls there and were checking me out and were sending flirty waves, though I ignored them as I wanted to make sure Jake knows that I honest and trustworthy.

Though I guess Jake noticed and pulled my hand closer to him, so I decided to mess with him a bit and put my arm around his waist and pulled him closer to me while continuing walking.

Although Jake was shocked, he smiled and didn’t move my arm, we finally found a place to sit and put our things there before heading to the pool.

I took off my blue see-through button up shirt and noticed that Jake was staring at me with his mouth wide open, I smirked at him before pulling him with me to the water.

“Come on, a fly is gonna get in your mouth Cutie.”

Jake’s POV:

After I took off my shirt I watched as Daniel took of the blue see-through button up, his six pack was noticeable, he’s so hot. I found myself starring at him before I saw him turn to me with a smirk, he chuckled as he grabbed my hand and led us to the water, I saw Daniel go under, water, so I did the same.

As we were running out of air, we sawn back above the water and moved our hair out of our faces, we were both facing each other staring into each other’s eyes.

Daniel swam closer to me till our noses were almost touching, I could smell his fresh minty breath on my face, he grabbed my face with one hand, as if to kiss me but turned sideways
before whispering into my ear.

“You’re really adorable.” He pushed me away and splashed me, I pouted before I laughed lightly and also began to splash him, as it was beginning to become boring, I tried to swim away from him, though he grabbed my ankles and brought me towards
him.

Next thing I know my arms and legs were wrapped around him and his hands were on my thighs to keep me up, and since we weren’t that deep in the water he could stand as he was 6ft
tall. “Well, you look really hot” I whispered back into his ear.

A little while longer we began to get out of the water, though Daniel was still carrying me, and I had my face stuffed in his neck.

When we got back to our chairs, he put me down and set on a beach chair to dry off. I quietly laughed before also doing the same thing, though I looked over at Daniel and noticed that he still had water droplets dripping from his chest onto his stomach.

“You’re starring” he said while laughing catching me off guard as he noticed me starring at him. “Alright we should start heading back, yeah?”

“Uh—y-yeah we should.” He laughed before
grabbing mine and his bags and grabbed my hand as we started to head back.
