I looked over my shoulder to see mom and Hillary walking away, I didn’t really think much of it as I thought it was great that they were bonding.
After a while of talking to some random people I went back to the hotel room to get changed for tonight’s dinner, I found out what mom and Hillary were doing.
Hillary got her extensions and new clothes, she looked much better than she did before. I stripped off my clothes then got into the shower, about 15 minutes later I got out and wrapped a towel around my waist and began to look for clothes for tonight, and once I did, I got ready.

When I was ready I walked out of my room and saw Hillary waiting for me, I looked at her up and down, and wow was she pretty.
“Wow, Daniel you look great” she said looking up and down at my outfit. “Shut up, have you seen yourself? The girls, boys, and people our age won’t be able to stop starring at you” I said smirking at her as her face turned red.
“L-lets just go” she stuttered before turning away, I laughed and followed after her. We came in through the side to see a massive group of people sitting at different tables, we walked around until we saw our families and Jake’s family as well.
We walked over to them as soon as we saw them, as we were walking everyone’s eyes from our table turned to us, they looked and a newly transformed Hillary and the very glam me.
Jake’s POV:
“So then he got down on one knee, right in the middle of kick boxing class. He’s lucky he didn’t get kicked in the nuts” Ginger said laughing after each word, imitating a man being kicked in the nuts making her chest go up and down with Brendan looking directly at them, though the rest ofthe table stared with confusion on their faces.
Laruen soon showed up and walked over with two plates full of food. “Hey, Espn, this is the best passion fruit I’ve ever tasted, try it. And I also got some food for your mom too” she said placing one plate Infront of an empty chair, Jim looked at her with thankfulness in his eyes.
“Thank you” Espn said shocked but also very thankful for Laruen. “You’re welcome” Laruen said smiling at the girl. “So, how did you sexicans meet?” Ginger asked both Lauren and Jim.
“Yeah, hit them with the hard questions, I like it” Dad said “Well, we met on a blind date” Laruen said while looking at Jim “Ugh those are the worst, I’ve been on 10 blind dates in my life, all fatties, 10 for 10 all fatties” Ginger said making the table awkwardly laugh before she stopped and looked at Jim and said “no offence Jim” “What?” Jim asked confused but also offended.
“So, what happened, where did he take you?” Ginger asked again. “Actually, Hooters” Lauren said looked back at Jim. “Here we go” Jim mumbled “Which was a wonderful service, nice people, it was really great” she said looking back over to Ginger smiling though Jim gave a confused look.
“Aww how romantic” Ginger said shimmying her chest when all the kids started doing the same “Aww all shimmying, shimmy, shimmy”
“Why you no shimmy Jim?” she asked look at Jim who’s attention was drawn to the other side of the yard, we all looked over to see a boy and a girl, more specifically Hillary and Daniel.
Though Hillary now had hair extensions and was wearing a blue dress with heals. And Daniel looked even more handsome if that was possible, I couldn’t stop checking him out and I’m pretty sure I was blushing.
“Where’s Larry, what happened to Larry?” Jim asked in a daze looking at his daughter “I’m right here dad” Hillary replied.
“What, wha wha what happened? How did this er, what’s happening right now?” He asked.
“Erm well, Laruen gave me her salon appointment and they put hair extensions and makeup, and she even told them how to style it and what to do and what now to do, she’s pretty amazing.” Hillary replied looking at Laruen with a smile.
Daniel was looking at his mom with pride, he chuckled before he sat down in an empty seat which was next to me, and he leant forward to whisper in my ear.
“You look beautiful tonight cupcake” he said before he leaned back in his chair and smirking as he saw me bright red.
“She was amazing huh?” Jim asked “Do you wanna go get some sushi from the bar Daniel?” I asked the handsome male “Let’s go cutie” Daniel said while laughing and intertwined our hands together and began to walk away.
3rd POV:
“Uh oh, I think someone new came to dinner, a flying baby named Cupid” Ginger said while giggling with glee.
Eddie then faked pulling out a bow and arrow, then aiming it at Ginger before letting go of the ‘arrow’ and Ginger holding her chest like she’s been shot, they soon burst out into laughter making everyone else laugh with them.
Laruen then looked t her side and saw Jim looking annoyed at her, she then stopped laughing and looked concerned. “What’s the matter?”
“What’s the matter? I’m looking at my daughter and I don’t really recognize her, kinda threw me off for a minute” Jim replied slightly angry while Hillary sat there awkward and slightly upset.
“Well, she’s 15, you know she’s bound to grow at some point” “I know, call me crazy, I just thought that maybe that would be my decision, maybe because she’s my kid!” He said while raising his voice, soon everyone fell silent, and Laruen looked down at her lap.
“Okay, awkward moment, uncomfortable, tension, leave it at the table, who’s with me? Come on, come on.” Eddie says to the rest of the people before they all got up and left only leaving Jim and Laruen alone at the table together.
“Wow, whoa I just, can I ask you what made you think you could tart up my daughter without my permission?” Jim asked calmly this time.
“You’re right, I’m sorry, I just find it hypercritical from someone who nearly killed my son” “Oh so, getting even is that it?” Jim asked.
“No, no, it’s not getting even it’s just that she’s beautiful, with that pageboy haircut you gave her, and the tracksuit, you’re kidding me? Dying in the inside to come out” Lauren said getting more frustrated.
“Her mother was a tomboy at her age, and that was fine with me” Jim replied, “You knew your wife when she was 15?” Laruen said getting more sympathetic.
“I knew my wife when I was 13, I had a crush on her. I have no idea why she liked me back, I was 90% goofy and 10% loser” Jim said. “Well, I was 60% ercal and 40% screech” Laruen said.
“Put it to you this way, If I didn’t have braces my teeth would be hitting you right now” He said making Laruen laugh “Sorry, I felt like a jerk because…” he started to mumble.
“No listen, you’re right. I need to let go of the reins a little bit” Laruen said smiling.
