Neighbor

first day of school

Well the day has come, not really looking forward to school beginning again.

Arny and I basically have every class together which is amazing!!

I finished getting ready and I walk over to Arny's house. I knock on his door, and I am greeted by his mom.

She tells me to come in and that I can go up to Arny's room.

I walk up the stairs that leads up to his room. I walk into his room and I am greeted by Arny being shirtless. We make eye contact and immediately I feel my cheeks turn red.

I cover my eyes and close the door a bit.

"Ohh shit sorry! Your mom said that I can come up. I'll wait out here, tell me when you have some clothes on." I say and wait outside his door.

"Okay you can come in now." He says.

"Sorry again!" I say embarrassed.

"It's fine!" He says then laughs at me.

"Why are you laughing at me?"

"It's funny you getting all nervous."

I quickly change the topic and I ask.

"You ready to go to school?"

I think Arny notices that I changed the topic. But he just smiles at me.

He looks up at me and says "Yeahh..." He says in a nervous tone.

"You'll be okay! You have me right by your side. So you won't be that new kid with no friends at all." I say then we both smile, then I bump his shoulders gently.

"Alright we should start walking. Before we're late to our first period." I say to him.

Then we both start walking.

"Sooo... did you do anything fun this summer?" I ask him. As if I haven't seen him all summer. I say it in a sarcastic tone.

"Well, I had to move this summer. Then my neighbor is the literal worst. She's so annoyin-" He says sarcastically.

He says and I laugh.

I never really like to make friends with people who are guys. Since the guys at my school literally. Suck.

But Arny is just different. He's not like one of those guys who play around with girls, he's a good guy. So whoever ends up with him is going to be really lucky.

We arrive at school. And we walk through those front doors.

"Why's everyone looking at us?" He asks.

"No they're not looking at us, they are looking at you." I reply.

Literally everyone is looking at him, specifically the girls.

"No way... Why would they look at me anyways?" Arny sounds confused.

" Well... it's because your the new guy. That's why. And when there's a new guy, all the girls get excited and hoping the new guy is cute. I mean sine your getting all this attention. I'm assuming that they think your cute."

Yeah I go to that type of school. It's great yk 😄

"Ohhh..." Arny not sounding really excited with this.

"You okay?"

"Yeah. I don't really like having so much people looking at me."

"Let's just go to first period. Let's not worry about this right now. We can deal with this later." I smile at Arny.

Then we start walking to first period. Which is Chemistry.

We stand in front of the classroom. Since I'm guessing that the teacher is assigning seats right now.

Arny gets his assigned seat first then me. I get assigned right in front of him, which I'm happy about.

I walk down the rows of seats and I sit in front of Arny.

We both smile when we realize that I'm getting seated really close to him so we can talk.
